I am the Grandson of  Edna MADIGAN.  Edna married Leland Anderson.  I
was able to get to you via an obituary of my uncle.  The world just
keeps getting smaller.  If you would like more family names let me know

Robert Anderson 

10/21/2003 - SINCLAIRVILLE - Robert L. Anderson, 73, of Hillside
Estates, died Wednesday (Oct. 22, 2003) the result of a fire.  He was
born April 13, 1930, in Warren, the son of Leland and Edna Madigan
Anderson. A Chautauqua County resident most of his life, he attended
Jamestown High School.

He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, serving in the U.S. Navy as a
hospital corpsman, and in the U.S. Marines. He earned his general
equivalency degree while in the service. He had been employed by
Chautauqua Hardware in Jamestown, and as a security person by the
Pinkerton Agency, retiring in 1970 due to illness. He was a member of
the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 53, and a lifetime member of the
Disabled American Veterans of Jamestown.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sonya E. Seager Anderson, whom
he married April 19, 1952, in the Celoron United Methodist Church; 
three
sons: E. Tracy Anderson of Cherry Creek, Scot Anderson of Apalachen, 
and
Robert L. Anderson of Livonia; a daughter, Shawn Arnold of Nunnelly,
Tenn.; 11 grandchildren: Michelle Snyder of Cassadaga, Ginnie and 
Joseph
Rough and Cassidy Arnold, all of Corry, Recia Meyers of Sinclairville,
Scot Anderson Jr. of Pikeville, N.C., David Arnold of Nashville, Tenn.,
Tom Anderson, U.S. Air Force, Abeline, Texas, Chad Aubin of Great 
Falls,
Mont., Shawn Arnold of Jamestown, and Ashlee Anderson of Apalachen; 
four
great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Vivian Stormer of Randolph and 
Pat
Hawkinson of Erie.

He was preceded in death by four brothers: Leland Jr. and Edward
Anderson and two infant brothers; and three sisters: Frances and Ethel
Anderson and Ruth Randolph.

A celebration of life will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday in the 
Sinclairville
Fire Hall, Main St., Sinclairville. The Rev. John Rough, will 
officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Sinclairville Volunteer Fire Department; 
or
a charity of choice.

Arrangements are by the Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville.
