When we reached Urst Orda we saw a Young Pioneer ceremony being held at the town war memorial. This was the Communist Party youth organization in the Soviet days but Eugene says it's now more comparable to Scouting. Today is the anniversary of the organization and the beginning of Summer Camp season, what a treat to get this glimpse into small town life. | |||||||||||||||||||
