This page of my site is mainly for people that I have dealt with, such as getting a kid from them or them getting a kid from me or have done in one way or another a wonderful transaction. It is called "Special Friends" because these people have become good cabbie pals of mine, and have a special bond with the pre-school because of the kids that I have gotten from them.

This is my good cabbie pal Desiree. With her is Sundance, a pony that I gave her. A couple of my kids are now under Des' care. Sophie Madellaine and Kenneth Brian thinks she's such a great Mom! I named one of my kids after her and vice-versa. We've looked out for each other by sending each other auctions of of dolls, clothings, shoes, etc. that we are looking for. She's a very special friend of the Pre-School because she has made some bloomers and a dress set for my kids. Above all else, she's a great CPK Aunt to my kids. I stumbled upon Des' page during the early part of this Y2K year. I remember e-mailing her about her site, and complimenting her on the great job she's done. She even created a special CPK Icon for my site that looked like my first ever CPK, Roberta Erin. More cabbie fun to our friendship!!!

This is Cristina Daniella posing her CPK Mom, Becky! It is totally obvious that they have so much fun together! Although it seems to me that Becky has more fun than anyone else! LOL!! Becky's a real nice pal of mine whom I've had the pleasure trading CPK clothings with. Thanks for the e-mails even if they weren't about cabbies, but just saying "hi" or "how are you."

This is Sonia, who I consider one of the great Cabbie Guru's. When I first started collecting, I had so many questions about CPK's, starting with scuffs, fuzzies, clear rubs--questions that started from basic to detailed. Sonia patiently answered all my questions and it was her willingness to answer them that made me feel talking to her about CPK's. It wasn't very long till I adopted three beautiful kids from her site. All the kids that I got from her sites were my firsts, as far as my first red head, first preemie and bald doll, and first toddler. I can't thank her enough for all that she's done for me and the CPK community. She's just a great all-around CPK Mom and friend.

I met Cat at Drew's Yahoo CPK Club during one of that chats. After that, I had re-adopted Noah Kyle from her, a #5 toothie-patootie boy at on of her Yahoo auctions. I am adopting another baldie from her, but this time a #3 with blue eyes. Cat has re-adopted 2 of my paci babies a while back, a #4 boy with gold hair and a girl with brown poodle hair. She is really a nice person to work with, and my two babies that lives with her now thinks she's a great mom! On the left is Jacob, Cat's son who wanted to say hi to as he poses with the cabbies Mommy Cat got from me. Cat has been and still is a very good friend of the Pre-School!

Back in the Spring, I won 2 cute #3 girls at an auction at Yahoo for a very reasonable price! They were beautiful twins. One day while surfing on the net, I stumbled upon Angela's site without knowing that she was the one who I won the dolls from! From there, I adopted a #1 HM red head KT girl with blue eyes from her. Then came an CPK Astronaut outfit, a replacement paci, etc! Angela, just like Des and Joy lives just up North from me. She has been very patient with me through every transaction. She is an honest and easy to deal with seller who has lots of kids that has lots of love to give. I am very happy that some of her kids are now living with me!

Hey look! Isn't that Karna Sabrina?! Yup! But now she's living with her new mommy, way out in the East Coast. Dawn is one of my good cabbie friends. As a #3 looney, I would never trade my #3 head molds CPK nor sell them. This time, I had to. Dawn was looking for a MIB #3 red head doll with green eyes. Just in luck, I have the doll that she was looking for, and she traded a Jesmar for that. I had a hard time trading Karna Sabrina as she was the 1st ever #3 doll that I traded. Anyhow, even before the trade, Dawn and I have been good cabbie pals, from our chats (with one unforgettable chat mishap), to both our craziness with the #3's, to our paci orders, Depo Provera petition, endless complaints about lack of $$$ for our dolls (but somehow we manage to grind our pockets and get them anyway! LOL), to her wedding anxiety and post-wedding bliss, we have come a long way from being strangers out of nowhere who share a few important things in common: CPK dolls, being in love and being happy! Cheers to our cabbies and to our friendship!

This is one of my best cabbie pals, Joy! She runs Jelly Bean's Cabbage Patch Dolls 'N More site, which was formerly known as Adoptions by Geekyspice. Anyhow, I was her very first cabbie customer back in April 2000 when her site first opened. Who would've known that I would come back for more and be good friends with this collector who lives up North, and we actually live in the same state!! I have adopted more kids from her than anyone else I know which is safe to say that it's the reason why I have no idea how many kids I have gotten from her! LOL This past Christmas 2000, Joy and I exchanged gifts and she gave me a non-CPK tagged San Diego Padres outfit that my Earl Friar is now proudly wearing. I gave her a Hello Kitty picture frame as it was one of her favorite Sanrio characters. Since that adoption encounter last April, Joy and I have shared and talked about lots of things, from cabbies, to our hometowns, the man in our lives, her computer woes, eBay hassles, rude people and great ones in the CPK community, her health, our dream cabbies and pretty much everything else under the sun--we have become online friends, or should I say not just friends, but GOOD ones, too!

This is my CPK pal, Patti. She is the one on the right wearing a red sweater. The other girl is my pal, Cat! So, this is a great picture of two great people! I met Patti at Sonia's CPK Club, a place I frequent to share my passion about Cabbage Patch Kids. Apparently, love for these kids isn't just the only thing we have in common. Patti used to be a preschool teacher, an occupation that I find great love to do. With her kind heart, I could see why she chose the field of teaching nursery kids. Patti has allowed me to have my dream kids, and not to forget, these kids that she let me adopt are from her own collection which she was the first owner. Many might not understand why it's important, but being the first owner of the doll and owning them for quite a while and letting them go is hard for us collectors to do. Some might have sold these dolls for a lot of money, especially the bald #19 kid that I was hunting for a long time. But not Patti. She let me have him for a decent price, and the promise to give Benjamin Roy a nice and loving home. Just like Sonia, and the rest of the people on this page, you are a great find. With the kind of world that we are living in right now, people like you makes it a brighter place. Thank you for being YOU!
