High King Theron along with the Kings Council has decreed that the Mage Tower on Silinis Isle be rebuilt and put in place for schooling with those of The Gift.  The Council has released from imprisonment the Elder Elemental Mages. Gardric, Helm of Fire. Sharin, Helm of Air. Thibius, Helm of Water and Moria, Helm of Earth.  These Mages of old will rebuild and teach those that are Touched.

It is decreed that those with the gift are not to be harrassed, killed or mirror struck and sent immediately to the Isle for training. It is mandatory that ALL people between the ages of 13 and 18 be evaluated for magick.

Welcome, young acolyte.  You've have been either been assessed and ordered to Silinis Isle or have gone on your own to be Mage trained.  The Gift is present from birth but does not manifest itself until puberty, usually by age 13.  If the Holder of The Gift does not train to utilize their elemental magick then it will usually disappear from the soul by their first sexual rites into man or womanhood.  A person with the Magick will either do one or all of the following with the onset of puberty:
- Feel an affinity for their element. Water tends to gravitate toward all things liquid, Fire to fire, Earth to the Land and Air to the Wind.
- Be visited by an elemental creature. See Elemental Creatures
- Have untamed wild magick in spurts during anger or extreme joy.
- Be Marked by a sudden change of eye color or a strange marking on the body (Sudden birthmark or tatoo).
Please note that though the Kings Council has decreed that Mage training is once again lawful, people are still fearful and prejudice against those with 'the taint'.

**Note: All children that show the gift can be Mirror Struck as soon as they reach puberty.
