1.0 Introduction to Special Attacks
Recently, Jagex added Special Attacks to some powerful weapons in
the game. There are many types of special attacks, from temporary boosts
in stats, to strikes dealing extra damage.
In the combat interfaces of these weapons you will notice a special attack
bar. If you click on the bar, your character will initiate a special
attack and use up some, or all of your special attack power. With Full
power, you have 10 bars, which will take 5 minutes to respawn.
Along with many other things, Special Attacks in duelling, have an option
to be turned off. If you do not wish to Duel using special attacks, click
on "No Sp. Attacks"

Note: The levels gained when you use a special attack, continue
dropping, or raising slowly, despite logging out, or even restarting the
computer.
2.0 Special Attack Weapons
Different special attacks use up different amounts of power. If you do not
have enough power for a special attack, then you can't do it. Your special
attack power will slowly restore over time.
2.1 Magic LongBow - Powershot
Powershot uses the full power of the longbow, which guarentees to hit your
opponent.
Power Lost: 4/10 bars of power lost per attack
Power restore time: 2 minutes per attack
Range Level Required: Level 50
Market Value: 6k - Falador Marketplace, Banks
Tactic: Not very useful, however you can use it well while PKing

2.2 Magic ShortBow - Snap-Shot
Snap-Shot allows you to fire two rapid shots at your opponent, however,
reduces your accuracy.
Power Lost: 3/10 Bars of power lost per attack
Power restore time: 90 seconds per attack
Range Level Required: Level 50
Market Value: 3k - Falador Marketplace, Banks
Tactic: Usefull While PKing, or killing NPC's quickly.

2.3 Rune Throwing Axe - Chain-Hit
Chain-Hit bounces the thorwing axe between several targets, giving damage
to each of them.
Power Lost: 1/10 bars of power lost per attack,
Power restore time: 30 seconds per attack
Range Level Required: 50
Market Value: ~500-700gp ea - Range Guild Weapons Store, Falador
Marketplace, Banks
Tactic: Chain-Hit would be only be useful when training ranged, it
wouldn't be too good in the wilderness, because you'd more than likely
waste them, by leaving them on the ground.

2.4 Excalibur - Sancturary
For Camelot! Sancturary raises your defense, protecting you from higher
hits from your opponent. Temporarily adds 8 levels to defense.
Power Lost: All bars of power are lost per attack
Power restore time: 5 Minutes per attack
Wield Requirements: Merlin's Crystal Reward
Market Value: Null (Quest Item)
Tactic: Using Sanctuarary, at the start of a duel can be useful,
because it raises your defense level. You can then swap weapons, and keep
the boosted defense

2.5 Dragon Dagger - Puncture
Puncture deals two swift strikes at your opponent, with slightly raised
attack and damage.
Power Lost: 3/10 Bars Lost per attack
Power restore time: 90 Seconds per attack
Wield Requirements: 60 Attack
Market Value: 30k - Can be bought at Falador, Banks, Lost City
Store
Tactic: Puncture would be good combined with a Poisoned Dragon
Dagger, as you could poison, and hit higher, and faster. Good for
Training, and PKing in low level areas.

2.6 Dragon LongSword - Cleave
Cleave is much more powerful and therefore, inflicts greater damage to
your opponent.
Power Lost: 3/10 bars of power are lost per attack
Power restore time: 90 Seconds
Wield Requirements: 60 Attack, Completed Lost City Quest
Market Value: 90-110k - Falador, Banks, Lost City Store
Tactic: The Dragon Long Sword special attack can be used while
doing anything. It would be good for PKing, and duelling, and training on
higher level NPC's

2.7 Dragon BattleAxe - Rampage
Raarrrrrgggggghhhhhhh! Rampage lowers your attack, defense, range, and
magic by 7 levels, while raising strength by 16 levels temporarily, or by
a percentage.
Power Lost: All Power is lost
Power restore time: 5 minutes per attack (300 Seconds)
Wield Requirements: 60 Attack, Completed Hero's Quest
Market Value: 180-200k - Falador, Banks, Hero's Guild
Tactic: Rampage is risky. Despite the fact that it raises your
strength, it lowers your attack, defense, range, and magic, making it to
be not very useful during duels. The effects would be best seen once your
levels have almost returned to normal (Excluding Strength).

2.8 Dragon Mace - Shatter
Shatter can only be used whilst attacking a NPC or a character. It has
much more power, but is less accurate.
Power Lost: 3/10 bars of power are lost per attack.
Power restore time: 90 Seconds per attack
Wield Requirements: 60 Attack
Market Value: 50k - Falador, Banks, Hero's Guild
Tactic: Shatter would be good while duelling, training, and PKing,
as maces give a prayer bonus.

2.9 Dragon Spear - Shove
Shove does not deal any damage at all to your opponent. It pushes them
away from you, and temporarily stuns them.
Power Lost: 3 bars of power lost per attack
Power restore time: 90 seconds per attack
Wield Requirements: 60 Attack
Market Value: 1.3mil - NPC Drop, Falador Markets
Tactic: Dragon Spear's special attack, shove, would be used well in
Duelling, as it would stuns your oponent, allowing you to attack them
more. It is also very useful while in the wilderness, as you can stun
PKer's, while you run away, or attack them
