Deck Mater  Rules and Gameplay    Masters: Created By the "Big 5" Deck Masters...A game Created by the Gang of Big 5 to defeate Yugi and his friends and to steal their souls. Deck Masters Rules are not that different from Yugioh/Duel Monsters but their is one new twist added.

Deckmasters main difference is that it allows a monsters to be used during anytime in the duel and the selected monster will have a new effect! The only bad part is that once your opponents deckmaster is destroyed you win the duel! Here are the rules:

Their are only a few monsters that can be deckmaster and have special effects. Other monster can be deckmasters but they will not have the spcial effects like others! Now know that the deckmaster is now on the field at anytime.Once you are unable to put a monster on the field during your turn and your field is empty, you may put your deckmster on the fiel and only during your turn is the deckmaster allowed to be put onto your side of the feild. The deckmasters effect depending on the card can be used without it being summoned to the feild and when the monster is summoned it cannot be summoned back. Once your deckmaster is destroyed in battle then the duel is over. Deckmasters cannot attack your opponents monsters directly if it has an effect that helps other monsters.(suck effects are raising or lowering other monsters effects, and allowing you to special summon another monster) They can be placed on the field at any time by the user only during the controlers turn. Deckmasters can be effected by magic and trap cards that are actiavated through the battle phase only (mirror force, magic cylinder, etc.) Cards like rageaki wont affect them as that would make it too eassy to win. You cannot change ownership at anytime of your deckmaster, but deck masters can be tributed threw certain ways. Such ways are threw polymerization. This can be done and the deck master can only be tributed to bring out a highter leveled monster of the same type and attribute!(so a light machine type needs a highter lv. light machine or it can be used in a polymerization effect to be tributed.)A monster card used as a deckmaster cannot use its normal effct if it has one! They will have a different effect depending on the card.


So Far we only know of these cards deck master abilities:(Note!: The Creator of yugioh and his team of producers have created versions of other deck master cards that were not used in the show. Their effects were printed in a book that allowed for the producers to choose which was best.
ULTIMATE MACHINE KING (2200/2000)-- Increase the ATK of this card by 100 points for each face-up Machine-Type monster on the field.
DRAGON PIPER (800/2000)-- As long as the card "Dragon Capture Jar" remains face-up in play take control of all Dragon type monsters in play.
JINZO (2400/1500) -- As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all of your opponents Trap Cards cannot be activated. The effects of all face-up Trap Cards on your opponents side of the feild are also negated.
VAMPIRE LORD (2000/1500)-- Everytime this card is special summoned back to the field because of the use of its effect, the tighful owner of this card gains an additional 500LP and this cards ATK increases by 300. FLAME SWORDSMAN (1800/1600)-- You may subtract the attack points from this monsters current attack and add them to the attack of a monster currently on your side of the feild.
NIGHTMARE PENGUIN (900/1800)-- When this card is flipped face-up, return 1 card on your opponent's side of the field to the owner's hand. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, increase the ATK of all WATER monsters on your side of the field by 200 points.
SHINATO'S ARC (Spell Card)-- Each time a monster is destroyed place it onto this card. When there is a total oo monsters whose lv. is 8 or more sacrefise this card to special summon "Shinato, King of a Higher Place". You may withdraw the Special Summon at any time during the duel.
