So we're ALL clear, this list is for fiction relating to the slayers of past, present, and future! Personal lives OR in relation to slaying itself!

FIC POSTING GUIDELINES!

WHAT FICS YOU CAN POST:

-BUFFY POLICY : I do *not* want Buffy fiction that is from the show. Meaning, there are plenty of lists and websites with Buffy-fic. Exceptions to this rule are: Buffybot, Wish-Verse Buffy, future Buffy & pre-Sunnydale Buffy fictions. This policy may change, depending on what fics start being sent. (If you are unsure of a fiction with relation to this policy, email some to me, or a summary and I will approve it or not.)

-FAITH POLICY : I believe, like Buffy fic, there is a lot of Faith in Sunnydale fics out there. But what about past or future fics? What about her life? Brothers? Sisters? Parents? Boyfriends? Post-jail? In jail? These give LOTS of room to grow and expand!

-GENERAL POLICY : ALL OTHER SLAYERS ARE FAIR GAME! Make one up OR take one of the ones we know about: Kendra, China slayer, NYC slayer, Fray (from Joss' comic book series which is excellent!), First Slayer... it's endless! Did Angelus meet one in his travels? We never knew if he did or not? Perhaps he made wooing them a habit? Who's to say? Perhaps DAWN becomes a slayer after Buffy dies? Who's to say?

HOW TO POST FICS:

Failure to comply with these guidelines will result in restricted posting privilages and repeat offends will be banned or unsubbed. (This is tough, but people need to know what a fic includes because certain people do not like smut or slash or dawn fic or faith fic... or do not know who Faith is...)

SUBJECT LINES MUST INCLUDE: Fic Title, Part Number, Pairing, Rating

EACH FICTION SHOULD HAVE A HEADER WHICH MUST INCLUDE: Title, Part Number, Series Title (if applicable), Rating, Pairing, Disclaimer (includes disclaimer for Joss' characters and any song lyrics or quotes you use), Dedication (optional), Notes (optional), Warnings (slash, smut, bloodplay, rape... etc...)

NOTE ABOUT PAIRING & RATING LABELS:

Pairings: can write the names out OR use these abbreviations-

B - buffy, F - faith, Fr - Fray, K - Kendra, FS - first slayer, A(us) - Angel(us), S - Spike, D - Dawn, W - Willow etc...

if there is no pairing, put NA for nonapplicable

if you do not want to reveal the entire pairing, then say so and use f/f, m/f, m/m markings to indicate gender

Ratings: please adhere to the following guidelines

G - fun for all, no swearing, no violence

PG(13) - equal to the level of the show, fighting perhaps, slight language

R - heavier language, violence and sexual references

NC17 - extreme language, violence or sex

POSTING FREQUENCY GUIDELINES:

I do not want people to get huge clogged up mailboxes! AND if you send out 20 parts of a fic on one day, chances are people don't have that kind of time and will just delete them all! MAKE US WAIT! BE EVIL! No more than 2 parts of one fic may be send to list in a 24 hour period. If you want the whole thing out there, uploaded it as a file and then email the list about the upload! Thanks!

GENERAL LIST RULES!

1) NO FLAMING! Violaters will be banned!

2) New list advertising in fiction form only!

3) OT in the subject heading means OFF TOPIC (aka anything non-buffy related)

4) Personal emails are to be kept OFF LIST!

5) FEEDBACK IS PERSONAL AND TO BE KEPT OFF LIST!

6) Files can be uploaded. As can pictures! Please refrain from sending on list! Ask List Mommy for details!

7) No LONG sigs! It clogs up mail!

8) Any problems, complaints or questions can be directed to your friendly list mom!

I know! It's a lot to remember, but common courtesy and we'll get along great! I encourage feedback and try to send as much as I can!

Please note that there were some viruses going around in email attachments on the lists recently, so no one can send attachments to this list. If you have one, upload it at the site!
