The Wall
By Leslie Arnts
If Poetry, in whatever form, is meant to move the reader...you have succeeded with this reader. I visited "The Wall" on March 2nd, 1998 at Washington, D.C. I responded, to your poem's central question ... Why? ... because of how deeply your poem moved me. Well Done, and I thank you.

"They Danced"
By Sherry Ermish
Sherry--Content, excellent, presentation needs strength--this couple worked hard at their marriage-tone is so gentle--even when there's a knock on the door, yet----more sophistication please, just a wee bit more--what if you offered the reader colors and scents---if you know Carly Simon, listen to some of her lyrics--I'd love to see this piece reworked

"Bumpy"
By R.L Walker
Another winner. R.L.Walker is skilled in presenting verse that allows for vivid imagery and expression of emotion. The poet's poems have been whimsical, gentle, and now a poem that is motivational and thoughtful. I look forward to more of this artist's creative spirit.

A splendid example of "what writing, and what Writer's Voice, are all about!" I am hard pressed to believe you are not a published writer. Looking forward to more of your work.

My Angel By Jennifer Hansen
Very nice and realistic. It makes one think about the possibility of a guardian angel watching over us. Just because we can't see them, doesn't mean they're not really there. Nice work!!

Love Dies By Jennifer Hansen
I believe that the person that wrote this poem has either been really hurt or truely understands the depth to with a person can be hurt by love, to capture it with such intensity

Searching
By Jan Henry
Oh, my, Jan, how much I do not want to go through this! But what is the alternative? I've already lost one child; now I fear my son growing up enough to be in this situation. I can surely imagine your descriptions - they took my breath and invoked such anxiety. And such relief!

You and the rest of us; you aren't alone, though it may feel that way. We all go through this. Keep writing; don't stop.

Finally, Others
By Raye McDonald
While these are certainly points to ponder, I would like to see more of YOUrself in the piece. How you really feel. What is it that makes this YOU instead of just words we need to consider.

Jennifer, you have the foundations of a good poet, but a little more time with them will likely make them flow more smoothly.

The Land of Ont.
by Alice Bateman
This piece has a comforting "wrap around" feel to it. Merges nature with man in a pristine way so as to compliment both. I wasn't able to carry the delightful rhythm all the way through. Sounded to me like you were describing my backyard! All that was missing was the Bald Eagle. I liked it.

Honeysuckle Summer
by MaNdI
Warm air, summer sunshine, Secrets, Love, and Honeysuckle...make for a sure-fire combination. I felt its "longing" as well as its "lilt" ... with just some minor editing it would go well on a "Thinking of You" Hallmark card.

The Little Girl
by PJ Nekolny
The short bites you use are quite effective at conveying the feeling of the story. I think they may hit harder than long descriptions, because they are read faster.
