A pack is a family, and as a family we grow and live long upon the harshness of nature's tests amongst the wilderness. We live together, help each other, keep our loyalty, dedication and love for the pack strong. This is how a pack should be and how it always should be.
Joining our pack, you have agreed upon looking at us as a family, wanting to show dedication, love, and trust within our pack. You will learn as the time goes, to become one of us and prove yourself to be a loyal wolf. You will respect your leaders, follow the rules accordingly and howl the songs we sing. We are a friendly wolfpack, and thus shall it always be.
As Assessment, you will prove your dedication upon becoming a Pack Member. You will hunt with us when needed, also as an Assessment unless you're a pup, and prepare for any threats along the pack. Assessment is just like a testing period. This is the final testing period if you are worthy to become one of us, so at a meeting you will be asked why you are worthy to become part of the pack. Keep the small acceptance at the top of the page in mind. We will not tolerate wolves who go against us.
How to start
If you haven’t downloaded IRC yet:
1 - go to http://mirc.com
2 - click "download mirc"
3 - download any one of the versions
4 - exit out of the first widow it offers you.
If you and if you already have IRC:
5 - look to the top option bar and click "tools" and go down to "Options"
6 - To the left there will be more options. very top is "connect" and underneath that is "servers" click servers.
7 - where it says IRC networks scroll down and look for 'Starchat'.
8 - click connect (make sure the network is still on 'Starchat')
9 - choose the name of your character and type /nick (no brackets)
10 - then type /join #NightWolves and /join #Wolfthese will take you to our main rp channel and the out of character channel.
11 - There should be someone there, hopefully. Double click on there name in the right hand column, and it will take you to a new window (this is what we call a PM {Private Message}) you will be talking to that person only. As them about commands and such.
Or
You can go to http://starchat.net (if you are an AOL user you will need to register.) Once you are done registering, return to Starchat.net's home page and in the top left hand corner there is a box titled 'java chat interface' in that box type #NightWolves and click chat. You will be given many boxes where it says 'nick' type in the name you want to be your wolf's name. Don’t worry about the registered pawed unless you are an AOL user. Channel/room: #NightWolves the next box leave empty and leave the server thing alone then click connect.
