SVYRFC Club Meeting and Club Elections

Our annual club elections took place. The results were as follows...

We also were interviewed on KTVU Channel 2 on our thoughts and reactions to the New Hampshire primaries and the presidential race in general.

Conservative Forum February Meeting
Location: American Legion Post 419.
958 Homestead Road, Santa Clara, CA 95050.
When: Tuesday, February 5, 2008, 7:00pm

On February 5th, we will have our first Special Event of 2008. It will be a combination election return night and a truly outstanding speaker, Dr. John Lott. We will have several televisions functioning at the American Legion Hall as we watch the returns come in for Super Tuesday, starting at 6:00 PM. Starting at 7:00 PM, John Lott will be making a presentation on two distinct topics - gun control and abortion.

We will be having two wonderful co-sponsors - the Golden State Second Amendment Council and the Values Advocacy Council. John Lott, is a well known economist and the best-selling author of "Freedomnomics: Why the Free Market Works and Other Half-Baked Theories Don't", "The Bias Against Guns", and "More Guns, Less Crime". In addition, he has published more than ninety articles in academic journals; and he has had opinion pieces run in such publications as the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, USA Today and the Chicago Tribune.

Dr. Lott will have books available for purchase following his talk. Also, attendees are invited to watch the primary returns from around the country while in the company of fellow conservatives. People are welcome to stay, observe and discuss politics into the evening. We will have cookies and coffee available throughout the evening, compliments of the CFSV.
