Between threats of terror and war, long working hours, and an unending barrage of entertainment choices, Americans have become a distracted group of people. In doing so, we’ve allowed social extremists to advance their agendas without much scrutiny. That is an oversight that will have, and is having, an adverse effect on decent, hard-working Americans.
In today’s world, activists with agendas that lean toward moral relativism, government dependence, and irrational claims to entitlements are being given free-reign to push those agendas. Their message is easy to sell because it's easy to disguise as one about creating fairness and equality among all people. Those are certainly noble ideals, and so such arguments have the advantage of sounding as if they exist on a moral high ground. But the truth behind them is often completely selfish in motivation, and the means of executing those so-called ideals are far more destructive than most of their advocates realize, or want to admit.
