It is very interesting to read about the stories of numismatists' encounters with fakes and fantasy coins but it is not so fun to get cheated; so be careful!!!

Forgeries or counterfeits Cash forged privately by remote provinces and neighbouring states for circulation due to the lack of cash coins in the area or to make profit.
Fakes These fakes were made to deceive collectors.
Replicas Replicas are made to be sold as souvenirs or arts and crafts items.
