More Stuff:

Hello. This is my site for Joseph Cross, formerly known as The Joseph Cross Connection. I started this site in February of 2000 while Joe (as he is nicknamed) was still a child actor. Well, now the child actor has grown into an adult (well, just this year anyway!) actor. Joe is still acting. And I’m still a fan. So I’m continuing this site.

It’s been a long time. Websurfers may have noticed that I was pretty lax and sluggish in updating the old site. I may have to make a small confession. Despite my insistence that my site was not created to get “official” status, I must admit deep down that that was something I had hoped for. It didn’t happen. That didn’t affect my fandom, my appreciation, or my support for Joe at all, not one bit. However, sometimes I didn't update the site with new info as often as I wanted to.

Fans of actors like Joe are (usually) on the outside looking in. It’s seemingly a one-in-a-million chance that someone you do a website for will actually make the move to have it “official”. I wouldn’t have wished for this had I not actually seen it happen with my own eyes. So if it could happen with someone I knew who had created a site, why not me? Still, you can never count on it happening and despite my knowledge that the odds were way stacked against me, I still held out hope. Well, like I said, it didn’t happen. :( But that shouldn’t be the point of doing a website anyway. It should be the appreciation and support for the person who inspires you. And in my case that person will always be Joseph Cross. If you are a first timer, I invite you to take a look at these pages that I have created and, get a glimpse of this person (through my eyes), or if you have visited my site before, welcome back and I hope you enjoy the new format! :)

I thought, now that Joe has reached adulthood, that redesigning the whole page was a good way to go. It took me a while to decide on the format. I may continually still tweek it.

Alot has happened between the time I started to become a fan and now. Sometimes I can’t believe how much time has passed. Joe has done alot of interesting and diverse things over the years. He has covered the full spectrum of acting, from TV to film to theater. He’s also done a little music on the side with a band called Roostir back in 2001. (can it be that long ago?).

I may create an additional separate page in the future with my own thoughts about Joe, fandom, and the larger context of everything, the world, growing up, innocence lost, innocence found, etc.You know, really light stuff. <g> All of the info that was in the previous site continues here of course, with all the updates. However, as this is also my own site about Joe I might create this extra "personal thoughts" page for various reasons. It would be a very personal look at what Joe means to me and the larger context of my fandom with the world we live in. After all, this is what the internet is for--to sound off and share our thoughts and feelings with the world--not an easy task by any means. We'll see.

With that thought in mind, I still want to say "thank you" to Joe for inspiring me with his amazing performances and for being a unique, down-to-earth, nice, caring (from what I can tell!) person. I wish him the best of luck in whatever he does, he deserves it! I also hope he is happy, healthy & safe in everything he does! :) And if you are visiting this site, I want to thank YOU for your interest in and supporting Joseph Cross! :)

Contact Info

If you would like to write to Joseph, my advice would be to contact the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) (Website here.) Otherwise, I don't know of any other address that is convenient for the public. :( Don't be discouraged, though. I'm sure Joe would VERY MUCH be appreciative and thankful for writing. I know of several fans who've received hand-written letters from Joe, which really is a WICKED NICE (the way east-coast people like Joe & me "tawk"!!!!) thing to do. He may be busier now and that was several years ago as a child actor. Obviously, being an adult he has more responsibilities and things going on in his life, but I have no reason to think he wouldn't be just as grateful. Good luck!

As the World Turns address:
OK, this is the address one used to use to send Joe something when he was recurring on the soap As the World Turns. Since he's not on the show anymore, I don't know why I'm leaving here, except maybe for nostalgia purposes. :)
