 ..... PHRAE-WA , FABRIC WEAVING GROUP IS NORMALLY  MADE BY BY GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO RESIDE BY AMPHOE KHAM MOUNG OF KALASIN PROVINCE WHERE THEY PRODUCE " PHRAE-WA " A FAMOUS SILK WEAVING STYLE.

 ..... Phrae-wa ,  fabric  weaving group is normally made by group of  people who reside by Amphoe Kham  Moung  of Kalasin province  where they  produce  " Phrae-wa " a  famouse silk weaving style.

....Mud-mee weaving style , the raw materials were be used for weaving such as silk or cotton, This woven has been dyeing process by which the silk threads were tied in the desirable  patterns before dyeing.

.....Khid weaving style , the  special technique of weaving by scatching . Weaving  was be used the reel hook to pick up the weft yarn and then insert the shuttle under them from one side to another along the warp yarn direction , local called " khid " . This will result in a variety of designing patterns.

.....Tin-jok weaving style , this weaving style is a technique to do stitching as weaving. The fabric is woven with pre-designed patterns by adding special weft yarns along the width direction of the fabric at designed intervals , by using a wooden reel hook ( a wooden quill ) , for example , to do stitching with silk yarn and cotton yarn combined to make a desirable patterns.

 .....Yok-muk or lai-muk weaving style  , this weaving style is a technique to do emboss printing on the fabrics which was designed  in gem-colored shape favorably. Weaving by using the reel hook to pick up the warp yarns and added the special yarns to design in patterns.

A natural and organic dye for fabrics have been used for dyeing such as the heart of the tree , leaves , bark , frower , skin , fruit , root and etc . A natural dye for fabrics which its made from red cotton tree bark give a pink to orange color , mango bark give a light to pink color , irvingiaceae bark give a yellow color. These are resources of different colors and also a types of vegetable dye formerly were used to give color as well as fragrance to cotton yarn.

General history Detail .....Tin-jok , this weaving style has been woven since a long time to centeries in several groups of Siam of the principalities of what is now northern , northeastern and central Thailand. The technique to do stitching , as tin-jok were differently designed each local which was following in the heritage , traditional way , especially whose Thaipuan , Thaiyuan , Phuthai , Laokrang , Thai-Lao , the ethnic minority groups. In fact , there may be seen in a several of designing techniques such as . Thai-Lao gold-silver brocade tin-jok design , Thaipuan and/or Phuthai stripe-patterned was alternated with the slightly wavy-line tin-jok designs [ the slightly wavy-line design , the Northeastern called the aie pattern design which the former design in the small- to medium-scale at bottom edge of Northeastern mud-mee and khid patterned fabrics favorably. ] , Renu's Phuthai crosswise-line&multicolored tin-jok designs , Laokrang rough mud-mee with tin-jok at the bottom edge designs , Thaiyuan crosswise-line was alternated with the slightly wavy-line tin-jok designs and etc. The names usually were called by following the majority of designing patterns such as Phuthai stripe-patterned tin-jok silk with ta-bung design " was alternated with kha-khe design , Uthai thani crosswise-line&multicoloered with kho-kam-dean tin-jok designs [ the former design alternately consisting of an asteroids and a hooks . Shown in old Whit-Thai classic-style design ] and etc.
Re-create an early Ratanakosin Thaiyuan classic-style design in fabrics with these slightly wavy-line -Crenulation - Striation - Stylolite's patterns of Koo bua's Thaiyuan traditional-style tin-jok quilts shown . Thaiyuan History Detail .....Wat Koo Bou is the name of an ancient temple in Ratchaburi province. This temple is the national museum which is showed a beautiful Buddha image in the Dvaravati period [ eleven to fifthteen centuries ]. And also an antiqueness can be found here.

.....Bigining in B.E.2347 , the regnal year of King Rama 1 , His majesty King Phra Buddha Yodfa . By the King's remak , Thaiyuan ancestor in Chiang San of the Yonok dominion where the northeastern regions were migrated to central Thailand for 200 years ago , what is now Ratchaburi province such as " Taam Bon Koo Bua " Amphur Muang , Potharam , Baan Pong , Bang Phrae , Pak Tho , Jombung , Suan Pung. The scholars speculated that ancestors of the Thaiyuan wove such floral , animal and material designs on their cloth in that times and the designs were passed down as the descendants . Such as lai-dok-shear , lai-kong-keng , lai-na-mon , lai-kab " cross-section of floral barks " . Especially , old Thaiyuan-Early design ------>Step back to Thai native-style period of the 11th-15th-centuries " Dvaravati " with this classic bird design in couple which joins face to face , what is called Nok-khu-gin-nam-huab-tao and etc.

.....Back to the present day . The villages in Koo Bua village what is the descendants still dwell as their ancestors did in part which evidenced through their language , clothing , weaving. Especially the woven technique was a local heritage which has been handed down from the genaration to genaration. All of them were skilled in tin-jok silk weaving . The traditional Thayuan-early symbols shown , which country classic-style tin-jok designs with the excellent patterns. This source is regarded of production for tin-jok silk fabric which one in six types of Thai classical woven fabrics .

Starting Detail ..........Silk yarn is woven by a raw materials in the local which the local people called Ki or Hook for weaving. Ki ; a loom , usually in the form of wooden frame. Koo Bua's Thaiyuan traditional-style tin-jok designs Detail ..........The designing patterns on woven fabrics into a varienty of traditional Thai decorative arts which are of fine detail and require a lot of skill to weave, as Tin-jok , a skirtlike dress need to be hand woven thread by thread.
