Six months after its organization, Technological Institute of the Philippines Quezon City Alumni Association (TIPQCAA), Inc. has finally acquired its SEC Registration as Non-Stock Organization on Dec. 10, 2001 with Registration Number A200118418. TIPQCAA adapted the Articles of Incorporation and By-Laws that is almost the same with the particular line of business and secured at the Express Lane of SEC, for the purpose of a speedy registration. The officers and the members of the board of directors agreed to have its own constitution and by-laws to have its identity once the regular meeting have been established. BIR registration and bank account of the organization are now being processed. Other Developments: The TIPQCAA request for a secretariat has not been granted by the TIP QC administration instead they provided a table office located in the vicinity of the Dean's Office.. This cannot be done at this moment since TIPQC was having problems in allocation of rooms because of large population of students. TIPQCAA officers and the board of directors agreed to occupy the space since it’s a new organization and that said place would be enough for the operation. The TIP QC administration approves the request for a bulletin board. This can be seen in front of the Registrar's Office. This would serve the TIPQCAA to post their projects, activities, and other important matters for students, faculty, and staff to view latest updates of the organization. TIPQCAA was also given the opportunity to have its own page and be linked at www.tip.edu.ph, the official website of Technological Institute of the Philippines. mhel de leon 12.20.01 |
