| Comic Con(Continued) 10/08/02- It's NOT Underwear!!- I swear to you, it's a leotard. Seriously. Stupid perverted people thought I was wearing underwear... well, I was... but under the leotard.... Happy little fact, Roy's shirt is a bod looking copy of the one I made and wore to Comic Con one day. I love my Ensuing shirt! 10/11/02-Swords!- I love swords, and wanted to get one at Comic Con. But noooo... you had to be 18, and I was 17. Curses. This doesn't really have much of a purpose, I just love swords. 10/15/02-Sword Talk- I hate this page. But... it had to be done. This is a foreshadowing page, well, kinda... it's more to get people introduced to Sinugen, an anime used in the 'But in Dreams...' arc. 10/08/02-No Comic Day- I like that picutre... it's from Kingdom Hearts. 10/27/02- Annaliese's Day at Newman-Bah, what a day that was. I drew this before I had my lovely tablet, so yeah, it sucks. But everything is true... 10/30/02-Halloween!-Black Bkg w/writing~Black Bkg~White Bkg- There are several versions of this... I guess I had too much fun coloring it. Melissa drew it. ^_^ 11/05/02- Hey, Sexy Dress- *shudder* Ecchi... Some many old men checked me out when I wore this... Ugh...not just older men, OLD men... probably three, three and a half times my age... *shudder again* it was so horrible.... *sob* Usually, I like older people.... 11/08/02- Destination: Sinugen!- I was like this at Comic Con... So many pretty things... More introduction here for Sinugen. As you can see, the hooded figure, later named Uruloki, has had a color change(his cloak/robe thingy went from dark green to tan). I was really happy with how this comic turned out, especially the last panel. Here's a interesting tidbit: While looking for a name for the anime to be used in Ensuing, I scrambled the letters of 'Ensuing,' eventually creating 'Sinugen.' 11/12/02- Kingdom Hearts/D-Land- I went to Disneyland for a band trip and finally got to play Kingdom Hearts. I was really happy, and the trip was awesome. 11/19/02- Leaving Paradise- Well, I just didn't know how to finish this arc. Alas, I really enjoyed my time at Comic Con... I was really sad to leave. Ah well... 11/22/02- Andre Strikes Again- We used Fushigi Yuugi as the anime here, it is copyright its owners. We thought that something like this would probably happen in it... Nothing against FY, though(Chichiri and Tasuke rule! Yeah!) Originally this was going to be a conversation with Melissa defending the show while she talked to her sister. 11/26/02- Happy Thanksgiving!- It took a long time to do this picture, but I was pretty happy witht the way it turned out. I was going to have a door behind Kyle through which you could see food delivery boxes, but I couldn't get the angles right so I gave up. Happy Cow Land 12/04/02-Happy Cow Land!- Yay! Happy Cow Land! This arc never really got completed. It's the first one Melissa colored, though. I taught her how to use Photoshop on this. ^_^ I think she dun good. 12/06/02- Customers- I think the only reason I came to watch Kyle work was to laugh at him. HAHAHA, Rich Boy! Flip those burgers! 12/10/02- The Happy Cow Land Warrior- I would so do this. I love how Melissa made my HCLW outfit out of burger wrappers and a drink cup. 12/13/02- Treasure Planet: The Real Jim- Well, we were comicless and I had just come back from seeing Treasure Planet and loving it, so I decided to make this. Can you tell I hate that stupid robot? 12/20/02- The Kryptonite of the HCLW- Heh heh heh... I get to strangle Kyle... Hahahaha.... Naw, I actually like Kyle, I just hate drawing him. Well, that turned out to be the end of the arc. Melissa couldn't figure out what to do next. 01/03/03-Happy New Year!- My first picture using my Wacom Tablet I got for X-mas. I was pretty happy with it. My tablet is so necessary now, I can't remember not having it. 01/07/03- No Comic, Naruto Sketch- I was pretty happy with the sketch. I had been suffering from bronchitis, and Melissa had a whole bunch of scholarship essays to write, plus, finals were in less than a week, so yuck yuck yuck. Yes, that is my horrible handwritting. I still stand by my last comment there. Naruto is pretty awesome. 01/10/03- Ensuing: Believe it or Don't!- Well, it says, 'not', not 'don't' but I thought later I'd be better as 'don't.' All these things are true. I really did the first, and thing with the benie, well, it happened... strange, ne? 01/14/03-Hamlet: The Musical- Melissa and I had to read Hamlet over winter break, and while studying we somehow came up with this. I blacked out Fortinbraus' eyes becuase I didn't feel like drawing them. It'd sound better if I sang to you. 01/17/03- The Anime Warrior- Well, I was feeling a bit down. What gets Annaliese out of slight depression? Cosplay! I grabbed random stuff and ran around the house claiming I was the Anime Warrior. It was great fun. Then I climbed up a ladder to a ledge and sat there for a long while. My Anime Warrior costume looked just like that: Green Cloak(I made it myself!), Ski Goggles, and gloves. 01/21/03-Life Lessons #93- This is sometimes true with Amanda. She is incredible; she can whip out awesome pictures in a very short amount of time. Nothing against her, but it gets annoying. She doesn't do it too much anymore. ^_^ 01/24/03-Ensuing: Believe it or Don't! #2-More examples of my horrible handwritting. And coloring. Bah. These all happened in about the hour I was at Japan Town in San Francisco. .. 'Only DBZ Japanese...' what an idiot... 01/27/03- Annaliese's Econ Project- What is econ? That was the project. We could explain it anyway we wanted, so I did this. It took my eleven hours on a Saturday. ICK. Needless to say, I didn't want to work on the comic that weekend. The doctor on the second page is modeled off of Hatori Sohma of Fruits Basket and the DVD is Sinugen(remember it from the Comic Con arc?). The money on the third page has my favorite character, Tokiya, on it. 01/31/03- Roy Goes to School #1- I did this about six months before I actually colored it and posted it. You can tell it's old by Roy's hair. 02/04/03-Roy Goes to School #2- Nothing much to say... 02/07/03- No Arcana?!- Her is a fine example of Amanda's artwork. Keenspace was down for a while, and it kept my favorite comic, Arcana away. I was pretty upset. I like the character Sloane. Amanda and I are the only ones in our group that like it, everyone else thinks it just a bunch of gay vampires. Only one vampire is gay. ^_^ 02/11/03- The Annoying One- Ugh, she always wants to get on the GameCube. And she always wants me to do her homework for her(she says, I'm not doing it, I'm only helping. Yeah right, helping by giving you all the work and the answer.>_<) I wonder what she'll do when I'm away at college. 02/14/03- Valentine's Comic- I was planning on doing this comic, but Melissa offered to. I'm glad, I can't draw her or Kyle. 02/21/03-Life Lesson #70- This actually happened to her, well, the 3/4 part. Ahh, we all have teachers we wish we could kill... I know I do.. I mean, no.. I don't... yeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhh.... 02/25/03-Ice Cream Makes Annaliese Happy!- Another one of those, 'dude, this actually happened comics.' That survey took forever. 02/28/03-Just a Day at the Doctors- I felt bad for Kyle, because I never draw him, so this is just for him. This came out a conversation with my dad about nuematic shots while I was getting some shots at the doctors. But in Dreams.... 03/04/03- But in Dreams Cover- I can't day much about this, I don't like it much, Uruloki used to be on it too, but the picture came out horribly. 03/11/03- And Nothing Happens- Nothing does happen. Basically, I watch the anime I got from Comic Con(Sinugen, duh), then I go to sleep. Hmmm... sleep. 03/14/03-What is thy bidding?- All the people were colored with Prismacolor pens. The rest is just CG. I'm happy with how this turned out. I tried to make it easy to tell who is talking by the font I use. Melissa has Comic Sans, the usual Ensuing font, I have AvQuest, Uruloki has Seaweed Fire(that or Cheap Fire). 03/17/03-It's Just a Dream!- My hair is orange. Why did I use an orange pen?? I don't know. 03/19/03-No Key For You!- I had the hardest time figuring out how Uruloki's arms would go for the fourth panel. In the last panel, my arms are a darker green than they should be, it's becuase I colored them the wrong color initially, and had to go over them. Actually, I should be wearing a t-shirt. 03/25/03-A Dream Gone Bad- I thought getting set on fire would wake me up. This comic was drawn long, long ago, before this arc had an actual storyline. I just knew I wanted Uruloki to come out my DVD's. 03/28/03-Sketches- Lots of different things here: Roy and I as our Xyia characters-before I changed his outfit, Haiyaku-the dragon I was going to have be Roy's familar, a strange looking Uruloki(yes, Calimetir is his last name), Daiki-an original character, Noah-from Xyia, another Roy, A crossed-out Kyle, and some cat boy. 04/01/03-Closet!-Another comic made much earlier than the arc. I like my PJ's. They are some of my favorites-I have them in real life. 04/03/03-Seeing Things-Another earlier comic(I think it's the last one). Lol... Roy's hair... It's different than the current style... I was trying to make the comic more 3-D with this comic by having the pictures not fit exactly into the panels-having them come out of them a bit. 04/08/03-Bathroom Break- I wish I had made straight lines instead of each one being crooked. I reall yliked how this turned out. I did it while watching my sister's indoor soccer game. The last picture actually takes up most of a full page. 04/10/03-Oh, That Sucks- I really wish I had found the time to color this page. I'm really proud of it 04/15/03-But in Dreams Fin- The only computer-colored comic in the series. I like how it turned out. I was going to have Uruloki disappear when Melissa snapped the DVD's, but he seemed like a person that would stay around to be annoying more than anything, so I changed it. He may appear later. In Quenya, Elvish from the Lord of the Rings series, Uruloki means fire dragon and Calimetir means light swordsman. Amanda helped me name him. Senior Ball 04/17/03-Senior Ball-We like seniors, really, we do. All the senior ball related comics came out of discussions at track practice. 04/21/03-Boot-an-Ear!- I like my buccaneer. I don't like my boot. Boutonniere is really hard to spell. 04/24/03-Yoh-I was watching Shaman King when I found out we needed a comic. Yoh's eyes are so off. His mouth too. I drew this with my tablet. 04/29/03-The Corsage- Thank goodness our dates got the wrist ones. 05/01/03-Stab-Stab- This turned out pretty horrible. But it's based off of what my dad told me after I got the boutonniere for my date. Man, dads can get wierd about their daughters... 05/06/03-Poor Poor Link- One of my favorites. It took AGES, but I'm pretty happy with it, actually, really happy with it. These are things that bugged me while playing Legend of Zelda:The Wind Waker. I love the game... everything in it is so cute! ^_____________^ |
