| 05/13/03-AP Testing: English-I get poetry. Melissa doesn't. Do you like the poem? I composed it whilee eating a pear with a broken stem one day. Melissa fixed it up. ^_^ 05/16/03-Sadly, A True Story-Mmm.. cookies are good. Running the 800 really screws up your brain. 05/20/03-Worst Comic EVER-Bleh, what horrible drawings. Yuck. But that really did happen. I had that dream twice and told it to Alex. *_* The Real Life Adventures of Annaliese and Melissa By Alex Chen 05/23/03-#1- There was an there was another version of this comic, but Melissa did not like it, so Alex threw it away and made this one instead. I liked it. 05/27/03-#2- I really do have a lot of pictures I don't scan form Ensuing in my room. I don't scan them becuase, *er-hem,* THEY SUCK! Everything else he says is in my room is. I love Link.., but not that much! >_< 05/30/03-#3- I think this comic was done before the other two were, lol. "General Unpleasentness," that's great. Thanks Alex, you're great! 06/02/03-AP Testing: Calculus- Hahaha... I knew I couldn't pass this test, so I didn't take it. Melissa is good at math, I am not. 06/06/03- Kyle and Roy- I had a good comic planned about college dorms, but it didn't look passable, and I didn't want another comic as bad as the Worst Comic EVER, so I drew this instead. XYIA Quest one: The Encounters 06/13/03-Title Page- Actually, this character has nothing to do with the arc. He is an original character named Yukage(Yu from Yume which means dream, and Kage which means Shadow... He is the shadow of dreams...). 06/17/03- A Package from Home- This turned out okay. Drawing the stairs was actually quite hard. 06/20/03-oMg- I should have made a background for this, but I just way to busy trying complete all my part of the arc in one day. -_- 06/24/03-Login- I really wanted to do some cool CG thing for the last panel, but I had no time to. The comouter shown is actually my computer I got for graduation. It's a G4 and it kicks butt. 06/27/03-Avatars- I like how this turned out. I don't like Roy's costume colors, though. 07/01/03-Resupply- Needs a background, but passable.^_^ The point of this was to see a full body picture of both Roy and Annaliese in their Xyia forms/costumes. 07/04/03-Annaliese Can't Draw Crowds- Well, I can't. I like the second frame a lot though. 07/08/03-Evil Castle Power!- I really like this comic. I really like how the castle looks. 07/22/03-What Did I Do Now?- I had to enlarge this comic in order for it to fill the comic frame. I should have made the backgrounds more complicated. 07/25/03- Loading... - I really like the backgrounds on this comic. I had to color this without my tablet, so It was kinda tough. 07/29/03- Easter Bunny Upchuck- Well, the coloring on this is pretty plain, so I'm not really satisfied with it, but I do like the panel with the full view of Melissa. To tell you the truth, I kind of cheated and just copied-pasted a color guide Melissa sent me ages ago, then detailed it. =^_^= She's supposed to be in a forest, but I didn't know until I had finished the coloring, so I changed a few panels later. 08/01/03- He's in a scary forest, you see...- Well, I had to enlarge this comic quite a bit to make it fit too, so Melissa's wonderful pictures are kind of pixle-y. Sorry. -_- Melissa asked me to do a forest background, but I was really annoyed with the computer I was working on (I had to color this comic three times... you'd think I'd learn to save a lot faster.), so I just threw this down. 08/05/03- Poor Poor Princess- Melissa is not a princess in Xyia, but she looks like one, hence the name. Melissa wanted to make this guy look really psychotic. I think she succeeded. 08/08/03- Ashes to Ashes, Losers to Dust- I felt so clever for thinking up this title! ^_^ Ususally, I only think of dumb titles, so this made me feel very good. I tried using several more layers(while coloring) than usual, and I think it turned out well. My backgrounds look more like a forest than two comics ago, too. ^_^ ------->Xyia Break!<------- 08/12/03- Stages of Drawing- I originally had a RahXephon/dream comic done, but the plot on it was pretty dumb, so I rushed this thing out. Actually, I saw someone had gotten water all over my Fan-Boy RahXephon picture(lol, a panty shot of RahXephon in a school girl uniform... it's pretty funny, I found it in the first volume of the RahXephon manga), so it prompted me to do this. Maybe I'll use the other comic sometime. ----->End Xyia Break<----- 08/26/03- Enter the Mustangs!- This picture looks bad becuase of the low quality version we had to use to save bandwidth. I had a lot of trouble shading and lightening Bryce's clothes. Melissa had to help me quite a bit. 08/30/03- Enemy Attack!- I'm really proud of this comic. I think the background looks awesome. The colors are smooth and look right. I'm am so pround of this!! (Even though Melissa drew it ^_^ 09/04/03- Bad News again... -_- -This comic was in place of what should have been Melissa's comic. That didn't really turn out, obviously. I was actually very shocked, becuase this looked much better than I thought it would. I drew this entirely with my tablet. (It turned out Melissa sent me the comic shortly after I finished this) 09/09/03- BACK OFF! - This is okay. I should have spent more time coloring it. Oh well. I love the last panel, Melissa did a really good job on it. Kawaii! 09/23/03-Castle!- Meh. This doesn't look very good. Took me several hours, but stilll.. yuck!This was also done on the tablet. 09/25/03- Amanda's Purchase - The first in Amanda's entry to Xyia. She colored it hereself, so it saved me a bit of trouble, plus, it looks good. ^_~ 09/30/03- Din Din!- Amanda's Second comic for this arc. I colored this one, so that's why it looks kinda odd. I do like the background in the last panel, though. 10/03/03- Earlier... - Well, this comic, Amanda's Third comic, should have gone before the last one. I had lost it be mistake, and I apologize. I like the mirror out in the middle of nowhere. 10/05/03- Shelter in the Shade- I think this comic turned out really nice. This is Amanda's final comic for the arc. The watercolors really give a nice effect for the background. The writing is mine, can't you tell by it's randomness and low quality? ^_~ 10/10/03-Xyia, eh?- Alex's first part of the arc. 10/14/03-The Whole Package- I really like Alex's character design, and I really like foxes. ^_^ 10/17/03-A Common Misconception?- I spelled conception wring on the comic. Oops! I really like the first panel here. 10/28/03-Escape!- I had fun coloring this, but it took a long time. Alex really did a good job here, me thinks... 11/07/03-Nyohohohoh!- Look at my lazy bkgs! I love the fan... go Konoha!And of course, Alex's Nyohohoh is classicaly awesome. 11/08/03-Right Under Your Nose- Lazy lazy coloring... I got a hold of this really late, and I was lazy, so I didn't color it very well. =p sorry. I love how Alex incorporated Amanda's ending into his own. |
