Point 1
  a Both students bow to each other.  
  b Both students move into left fighting stances.
  c The attacker steps in and throws a right seiken punch.
The defender steps back and throws a right chudan uke.
  d The attacker steps in and throws a left seiken punch.
The defender steps back in, throws a left chudan uke and a right seiken punch to the attacker's ribs.

While not letting go of the attacker's left arm, the defender steps in front of the attacker and delivers a right elbow strike to the attacker's head. After the strike, the defender controls the attacker's arm with a right underarm pin (wakigatame). Once the arm is locked, the defender sits down bringing the attacker's body to the ground.

  e Both slide back into post position.

Point 2
  a The attacker throws a left seiken punch middle.
The defender throws a left chudan uke.
  a The attacker moves into a right fighting stance, the defender into a left stance.
  b The attacker steps in and throws a left seiken punch.
The defender steps back to a right stance and throws a right chudan uke.
  c The attacker steps in and throws a right seiken punch low.
The defender steps back, throws a left gedan uke and a seiken punch to the attacker's solar-plexus.

While not letting go of the attacker's right arm, the defender puts his left thumb on the back of the attacker's hand and grabs the attacker's hand. The defender steps back and turns ninety degrees to the left while lifting the attacker's hand to chest height. The defender uses his right hand to push the attacker's hand in kote gatame. Once the attacker is put down on their back, the defender has a choice as to which lock he or she wishes to place on him.

  d Both slide back into post position.

Point 3
  a The attacker moves to a right stance, the defender to a left stance.
  b The attacker throws throws a left seiken punch.
The defender steps back to a right stance and throws a right palm-heel block.
  c The attacker steps in and throws a right seiken punch.
The defender steps back and off to the left, throws a right chudan uke and a right shomen geri to the attacker's hip.

The defender controls the attacker's right arm with their left hand. The defender moves past the attacker's right arm while still holding onto their arm with their left hand. Once past the attacker, the defender controls the attacker by twisting the right hand upward in ude garame. The defender then steps quickly in front of the attacker and pushes down on the attacker's right elbow forcing them do the ground on their stomach. Once again the choice of lock is with the defender.

  d Both slide back into post position.

Point 4
  a Both students move to left fighting stance.
  b The attacker throws a right sakuto geri to the defender's mid-section.
The defender slides back and absorbs the kick with the left arm. The right hand is positioned above the elbow so the kick doesn't slide up the arm.
  c The attacker throws a left mawashi geri kick.
The defender steps back and blocks with a right crane-block.
  d The attacker steps in and throws a right shuto to the defender's head.
The defender steps back and throws a left jodan uke, and then steps in and throws a right empei to the attacker's ribs and a right uraken to the upper lip.

The defender pushes the attacker's head back by pushing their chin with the right hand. Once the head is arched backward, the defender slides to the right slightly and sweeps the attacker's right foot forward while pushing the attacker's head down. No locks afterward.

  e Both slide back into post position.

Point 5
  a Both students move to left fighting stances.
  b The attacker slides forward and throws a right seiken punch.
The defender slides back and throws a left chudan uke.
  c The attacker throws a right shomen geri.
The defender slides back and throws a left gedan uke.
  d The attacker throws a left mawashi geri.
The defender slides back and blocks with a left Uechi-block.
  e The attacker throws a right mawashi geri.
The defender steps back, blocks with a right Uechi-block, throws the attacker's foot across the body. The defender then steps in and grabs the attacker's right shoulder with the left hand, pulling the attacker down and throws a right shoken punch to the back of the attacker's head.

The defender slides in to the attacker blocking the attacker's left elbow strike. The defenders right hand is diagonally across the back and the left arm blocks the oncoming elbow strike. Once blocked the defender swings his right arm around the attacker's head placing his wrist on the jaw and drawing it to the defender's right shoulder. The defender crosses the right wrist with his left wrist and squeezes.
