First I would like to address the more obvious health impacts from childhood sexual and other sexual abuse. I am going over these first to make myself realize how things impacted me not only mentally but physically, and so that people who see this can see these same things in themselves or others, perhaps as a warning for someone who sees these in a child.
+ Due to vaginal penetration at an extremely young age, I suffered numerous vaginal infections such as yeast infections. The contact alone, (not to mention the infections due to tearing, bruising and simple irritation due to contact and abuse) was enough to upset the balance or acidity and hormones. This is in part why you see trouble with urination in children who are being abused.
+ Urinary tract and bladder problems. Including numerous and persistent infections. Urinary tract problems persist for me to this day.
+ A "trick" jaw. Because of the size difference between a penis and a child's mouth, the pressure causes the jaw to be misplaced, especially with the force that was used in my case. My jaw still clicks; A constant reminder of the past . When engaging in oral sex now willingly, I get sore easy, though I hear that is true for many women anyway and since I can't compare, I can only imagine if it is worse for me. I would venture to say I notice it more.
+ Vaginal and Anal bleeding. These are fairly self-explanatory. Whenever the delicate skin is abused in those two regions, there are problems. This leads to hemorrhoids very early in life and scaring of the vagina.
+ Bladder and pelvic problems. With the amount of force, the displacing of all the organs in the pelvic area happens. Also, I had some very violent episodes (for example, one time my brother thought I was perhaps pregnant so he punched me in the stomach and put a great deal of violent internal force until I bled in an attempt to do a home abortion) that still give me pain and trouble today. I think this relates directly to some internal problems I have with my Ovaries and Uterus. |
