Ys Families at Water Theme Park

YM. P Gopinath installs new team
Past India Area President Ym. P Gopinath installed the new team of Office bearers for the year 2006-07 at at function held at the residence of Ym. George Varghese on 9 Jul 2006. The new team is headed by Ym. PWAF George Varghese who takes over as the President for the fourth time. Ym. Benny K Mani was installed as the Secretary and Ym Prasad Varghese as the Treasurer of YMC Vattiyoorkavu. More details and photos available here .

Onam Celebrated
The club members celebrated Onam on 12 Sep 2006 at the residence of Asha and Ajay. Ajay had come on holiday from Nigeria. All families participated in the games and cultural events organised as part of the celebrations. Onam Sadya followed.
Club members visit Balabhavan on Independence Day!
The club members visited the Holy Trinity Balabhavan near Engineering College, Trivandrum on the Independence Day and spent the forenoon with the inmates. Ten families participated. The function was attended by the functionaries and inmates at the Balabhavan. Mr. George Thomas, the Director of the Senior School inaugurated the function. Ym. George Varghese, Club President hoisted the National Flag. Cultural programmes by the members of our YMC and the inmates of the balabhavan were the highlights of the half-day programme which ended with lunch.
