The Chinese
Orchestra
The Chinese Orchestra has survived for
centuries without the presence of bass instruments. However, due
to Western influence, Cellos and Double Basses were added to
povide the bass. The Chinese Orchestra is divided into 4 sections
- Bowed-Strings, Plucked-Strings, Wind and Percussion.
