Odds and Ends Info - Very Useful
Useful GM Part Numbers:

-
T-Top Weatherstripping Kit - Weatherstripping gone bad on your tops?  Do they leak like a siv?  Fix that with this complete 8-piece GM weather stripping kit for cars with t-tops (RPO CC1).  GM made this part available on September 2, 1991 after many problems with leaking tops.  GM incoorperated provisions at the butt joints for better draining.  Keep in mind that this set has to be used together and not with previous years weatherstripping for it to work properly.  This part fits Firebirds AND Camaros.

1982 through 1991*:       8-Piece Weatherstripping Kit - 10164133 $181.65

Understanding Vehicle Identification Numbers:

VIN's are 17 digits long and each digit has a significant meaning.  Even though no two f-body's have the same VIN, the first 16 numbers can be the same.  A lot of people like to know how they can check to see what year and what motor each 3rd gen f-body is quickly and accurately.

I have put together this handy 3" x 2" card which quickly lets you look at the 8th and 10th digits of someones 3rd gen and see what year it is, and what the stock motor is.  It's in .pdf format, so make sure that you have adobe acrobat reader or photoshop.  Click below....
