Aquila represents the eagle. The Eagle is the Thunderbird of the Greeks. The eagle belonged to Zeus carried his thunderbolts when he used the thunderbolts to throw it at his enimies. The eagle was sent by Zeus to get the mortal, Ganymede who was the son of King Tros. He was fetched to become the water bearer of the gods. Aquila is the eagle version of Aphrodite |
