The "hose within a hose" (HWH) carries the fuel line inside of a hose filled with hot engine coolant. It is terminated useing a compresion fitting on a copper "T". The fitting tightens down on an O-ring which seals around the fuel line. |
Clamp one end of a small (2-3 inch) piece of 5/8" heater hose to the end of the copper "T". Some people clamp the other end of this small piece of heater hose tight around the fuel line, I roll an o-ring between this chunk of 5/8" rubber hose and the fuel line, then tighten a hose clamp on the lump. |
Another way to terminate the HWH without coolant leaking out from around the fuel line. |
I hope to have a picture here in a couple weeks. |
