It's pretty simple...
In the fall of 2000, the great Chelsea Wright met the omnipotent Valerie's mother while talking to Justine in the hallway about Nsync. Thats when it ALLLLLLL started. Since parents have a wonderful tendancy to talk about their kids way too much, she told me about Valy! So then Chelsea and her friends began stalking omnipotent Betty!!! In about April (?) of 2001 we started the We love Betty and Valerie club. In June of 2001, Chelsea graduated from CMMS, and left the stalking duties with Rachel. On July 24th 2001, Jessica and Chelsea had the wonderful oppurtunity to meet the great Valerie. ONe night in August, Chelsea left a note on Valerie's door with her email address, suprisingly, the omnipotent Valy emailed her!! In about October 2001, the club was changed to just the Valerie fan club. (We didn't tell Valerie about this fan club until November/December of 2001). We started a site with the 8 members we had of WLVFC which was at gurlpages.com/welovevalerie. Which got over 200 hits in the 3 weeks that it was up, slowly Valerie got more and more popular. Also, gurlpages SUCKED, so we moved the site to geocities.
The fan club now has almost 60 members, and she still remains more famous than Britney! |
