| The Icelandic Horse's diminutive stature belies its speed. This rare 5-gaited horse has been so isolated by Iceland's remote location that importation of horses is absolutely forbidden, and once an Icelandic horse leaves Iceland, it can never come back. This is to prevent an outbreak of horse disease. | |||||||||||||||
