Suppose you wanted a picture with a clear field of view of your house to send to your family and friends. But alas a construction sign and a light pole block the view and draw the eye away from the house. With a little computer magic we can remove the offending objects without having to steal the sign or knocking down the light pole. |
First
load the picture into the paint program that came with Windows or
an equivalent software. In paint I used the free hand select function
and outlined a section of grass. Then I depressed the
control button
and while holding it down I left clicked on the outlined grass and
moved it over the sign. It may take several operations to completely
cover the sign and cover up an obvious seams. |
I
did the same thing to remove the light pole. I used grass in the
grassy area. House in the area of the house and the same with the trees
and the sky.With a little practice you can make all most any
picture
look better. I also lightened the above picture and sharpened it a
little. |
