Flowers From Fans Outside Funeral
Fans Going in For the Wake Leslie Cheung Funeral after his suicide
But I got in, finally....
We were then lead back outside, and sent over another side of the hall. "Line up!" We were told, "Two by Two!" So we did, and they collected our green tickets, and was sent up the stairs. It was like a maze. We didn't know how many floors to go, but people were in each corner, watching. Some People began to cry you ??could hear its echos bounce off the walls.... I felt dizzy and lost.
After four floors, we came up into another hall, again, baskets of flowers filled the room.. We had to be lined up 5 by 5. Then was lead in.
It was beautiful. They played Leslie Cheung Songs (I can't even tell you which one it was.)
<<The Flowers Had To Be Put On A Heap On the Floor. The girl in front of me didn't want to throw hers down. She held them all day! But from behind me, others tried to put down thier flowers and  the security yelled, "Miss, please hurry up!" But we had no where to go. Then I was pushed, (hence the blurry photo). It was truly chaotic.. But the stack of flowers was huge, Knee High and More Was Added Second By Second.
We were lead into a Hall. It was horrible looking! No Flowers, no decorations. I didn't know what was going on, and staff told us to sit down and turn our phones off. I was asked to step aside.I had to remove the battery from my camera, and the tape, and another security came over and told me to remove my memory card! I got so stressed, all the time going "Please, you're not taking my photos are you?"
They tried to reassure me, but at the same time raising their voices and giving me different directions. Finally I got it right, and they placed all the parts of my camera in different pockets of my bag.
The whole room was filled with white lilies, banners, well wishes. The walls were covered by white silky curtains, spot lights shone from the side. Rows of seats marked "reserved." It was suddenly quiet.I felt as if floating in a forest of lilies. People around me cried harder. A large photo of Gorgor surrounded by three lines of roses, flowers beneath watching the proceedings.... There were two projectors showing images of us standing there. The  Funeral Director, Tells us to "First Bow, Second Bow, Third Bow. Family Thanks You." And we had to go. I didn't see the family as I far in the back. After all the noise, insanity. Finally It seemed right.
I paid my respects and Everything Was Calm..
