Tuesday, July 6, Day Three

Woke up early again, 6ish EST. !! I almost went to Nancy's room for coffee as invited, but I wasn't really sure if she was truly expecting me or not, so I just laid in bed and read my book, and arrived to the dive boats at the allotted time of 8:45. Since they mentioned on the boat that they noticed I didn't show, I decided I would take them up on their offer the next day. Two more easy dives, a return to the hotel restaurant for a lunch of cajun chicken and rice, then back out for an afternoon, shallow pier dive to see the seahorses and lotsa pipe fish and puffers. I understand there was also a baby octopus hanging around, but I missed him. Back to the hotel for shower. Nancy had earlier mentioned that they didn't have any spoons in their kitchenette, so I thought I would drop a couple by on my way to the restaurant bar since Cassandra and I didn't appear to need them. Which I did; and never before have I been invited in and then kicked out (hustled out?), AND THEN told to save them a place when they decided to go down for dinner. !!!!!

I made my way down to the bar very annoyed, had a rum punch, and sat in my usual sunset-watching-reading chair. Dinner was lamb island style at the hotel restaurant with pound cake a la mode for dessert, since the other table finished off the strawberry cake I was dying to try! This was Lonnie's night to chill and have fun, previously being the diving nazi! After dinner, a few of us stayed behind, and Lonnie proceeded to compliment the other two women at the table; he eventually turned to me, made small talk, and then tried to pick a fight with me! The evening ended soon after, back up to the room for some reading, and again, it was an early night.
