MONDAY MARCH 1ST 2004

Ian is still complaining that his left knee hurts, hmmm this is making me wonder.

TUESDAY MARCH 2ND , 2004

Mom was off to school before the boys got home. I arrived home around 7:00pm and Ian told me that his knee STILL hurts AND now his left ear is a bit muffled and he can’t hear very well out of it.

Ok so his WHOLE left side is falling apart. I told him he may be getting his brothers ear infection and to take some Motrin and we see how he is tomorrow.

Ok things are better with the Knee and things are going along fine… Looks to be a typical month with 2 young boys. That’s a GOOD thing. No News is GOOD News as they say.

The kids have had friends over and been doing the usual boy things. Mom has been busy with selling the old car and Dad is of course buried under homework. J

WEDNESDAY  MARCH 24th , 2004

Got an email from Dr Susan about a book that is being written about the disease JDMS. This is a GREAT thing, since there is sooooooooooooo little information to find on it. I immediately zip off an email to the woman putting the project together and tell her about this site, and that she can use any thing from it, if it will help inform others about what to expect and how to deal with things.

I have not heard back from her but don’t imagine I need to, since all the information is on this site. Tho it would have been nice to know what she thought of the site, or at least if she GOT the email.

Ian has now got the taking of the NEORAL liquid down pat. Rather than drinking 2 glasses of something, in order to make sure he had gotten it all out of the glass, he takes a sip of MILK (don’t use water-it will just make it take like LOTZ more medicine) and then tips his head back to make like a cup. We then squirt the syringe of the medicine into the mill and down it goes. I am sure that this is one of the 1st meds he wants to see go.

WEDNESDAY  MARCH 31ST , 2004

Mom is still working 48 hours a week, since work is short handed. The good news today is that the old car is sold and being delivered to the new owner today. It is finally out of the driveway where it has been since Jan. 28th when I picked up my Mazda3.

I delivered the car to TF Green airport and the new owner flew in later that night and picked it up. (had already done the paperwork via fax and mailed them a key) I had a friend who works in Providence pick me up and bring me home. He did me the favor of picking me up so I was to go to their house to attempt to fix their PC yet again ;)

Once the boys were done with their homework, we all went over to their house for dinner and to visit (the kids had a blast and Mom did too. We were treated to home made Pizza.

Not much else in the way of news on the JDMS front, but the family did find out that we have another cousin in the making. Due to arrive sometime around November 12, 2004
