Poetry I believe life is a stage and we all have a part
to play. We all have feelings about one thing or another When we share these feelings, whether it is with ourselves or with someone else, we are expressing ourselves, we are being who we are. Isn't it a relief
when we can let our feelings out? Many years ago I realized that I could write down my feelings and let it go. In 1989 I wrote down my feelings after the man I worked for yelled at me because he wasn't having a good day (He was 86 years old
at the time, and blind). When I read it to him, he started to cry and encouraged me to have it published. That was the first time I realized other people might like what I had to say. Before Lucky Man Like Me was published I wrote mostly for my eyes only. I did not think anyone else would be interested in my idle thoughts. I found out I was wrong when I allowed other people to look at my "Pieces" as I called them. I started hearing things like "That is exactly how I feel." "You write just what I would write if I could." "You should let other people see your work." "You could make money with that thing." I don't make money with my poetry, but I do share them
with everyone who enjoy reading poetry. As you browse through this site you will find only original poetry written by me
Most of my pages have more than one poem. Stay awhile and Enjoy them. |
