The Naples, Florida area is a wonderful area to live in. The climate (NO SNOW) is hard to beat anywhere. Collier County is home to Marco Island, the Everglades National Park, and many other sites worth visiting. The school system is highly rated both academically and in athletics. These are all reasons why the Naples area has been rated as one of the nation's most livable cities.
It is not unusual to see alligators
warming themselves along banks of canals throughout the county. Fresh water
and salt water fishing are readily available. There are numerous species
of birds to see in Collier County. The beaches are wonderful and a walk
on the beach at sunset is a breathtaking experience. One of the sights
I enjoy most is watching pelicans flying along, then suddenly diving into
the water for food.
