Moonlight/Midnight Garden Ideas


Hi, on those gorgeous summer night, I'm looking forward to sitting out on my back deck this coming summer. And because it'll be too dark to see most of my flowers, it's my intention to have a midnight/moonlight garden on my back deck. From the research I've done, the best plants to include in such a garden are the light coloured plants that don't close up at night. The moon (or streetlights) are to reflect off the plants and make them "glow".

So I thought I'd share my research information with you. So far the information I have tells me that the flowers listed below are to be the ones I'm to look into for my midnight/moonlight garden.

Alyssum Baby's Breath
Clematis Columbine
Dusty Miller Evening Primrose
Four O'clocks Flowering Tobacco
Garden Phlox Honey Suckle
Moon Flowers Russian Sage
Shasta Daisies Snow in the Summer
Wisteria
