Theresa India Young, After studies in New York and Africa, Ms Young won a scholarship to Boston University's Program in Artisanry for Textiles. She was a fellow in Northeastern University's African-American Master Artist-in-Residence Program (AAMARP), is on the faculties of several local colleges and universities, and is an art specialist in the public schools. She has exhibited across the country. She is the director of Primal Arts, an educational consulting firm, and Kush Club, a youth organization dedicated to studying the artistic achievements of Africa in antiquity.
