Adam's answers
Sierra webmaster Adam Bormann has recently left several messages at St. George's Books answering questions about the GK Collection, the GK3 Demo, and other hot GK3 topics. About the GK3 Demo:

About cameos in GK3:
About the possibility of a text option in GK3:
About the GK Collection:
Calling all reviewers Stella Tan (owner of The Attic) is designing a monthly feature on her site where fans can read reviews of the various fanfics that have been compiled. So if you have a particular fanfic that you liked, write a reader's recommendation and send it to Stella. If she receives one before the end of March, she'll start the Readers' Recommendation in April. Also check out the new fanfic message board on her site. |

Resurrection
Ray's terrific Domain of Schattenägers has been updated recently. Christy and Carlos took it upon themselves to update the Official Fan Fiction Archive - good job guys! If you haven't visited in awhile, stop by and see what's new. Heath's wonderful Unofficial Gabriel Knight Homepage has a new address: His server is finally cooperating and you can now check out all his updates, especially his new GK2 Music section, featuring the score of GK2 in MP3 format. GK CollectionIf you're trying to find a copy of GK1, there's good news! Sierra plans on releasing a Gabriel Knight Collector's Edition this summer. It will include Gabriel Knight I, Gabriel Knight II, a Gabriel Knight III Graphic Novel, the Gabriel Knight III demo, plus several bonus literary works of Jane Jensen. Check out the Official GK Site later this spring for more info. Just Adventure MagazineCraig White's online magazine Just Adventure has a great new look and plenty of interesting articles. Andy Bellatti (who used to write the Unofficial Sierra Newsletter) has his own column where he addresses topics like 3D: Passing Fad or Eternal Style and Sequels, Sequels, Sequels. Each week, Craig examines such issues as release dates and the new direction in which adventure games are heading. Other writers contribute reviews, previews, and editorials. The site's updated weekly and there's almost always something new to check out. |

GK3 Site Update
Sierra's Official GK3 Site has been updated. This month, we find out about some changes to the GK team and meet three more of the team members. Also, don't miss the team photo and the introduction of Gabriel Knight (including a great screenshot)! Interaction MagazineWatch your mailbox for the Spring issue of Interaction Magazine. There are details about several of the games slated for release in 1998, including GK3. Christy Lein scanned the images from the article. Most of the information is pretty familiar to those who've been following GK3's progress via the web, however there are a few new items of info: The Prince's newborn son is apparently "the key to a century-old enigma surrounding the royal family." "Camera angles are fully adjustable to any position in the environment, whether in the normal exploratory gameplay or the in-game integrated story scenes." "During the 13 time blocks, scenes are taking place - both independently and in close conjunction with the plot." |

Designer Diary Update
Jane Jensen's Designer Diary at Gamespot has been updated. This time she talks about having to sacrifice portions of the script and cut down on unnecessary animations in order to keep the project on schedule. Help WantedAdam posted the following notice at St. George's Books:

The third issue of the Schattenjäger Diaries has arrived and it's full of interesting info! Send your guesses for Mosely's first name (yes, he does have one) to Adam. Jane Jensen answers some of those questions that we've been debating at St. George's Books. And find out about Daryl Affleck, the animator who's responsible for the 'hidden messages' in the avi clips on the GK site. If you haven't signed up to receive the newsletter, go do it now, before you miss out on any more cool info. |
