M'ko
If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day till eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you...
If I could make days last forever,
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure and then again
I would spend them with you...
But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do once you find them
I've looked around enough to know that
You're the one I want to go through time with...
If I had a box just for wishes,
And dreams that had never come true
The box would be empty except for the memory
Of how they were answered by you...
But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do once you find them
I've looked around enough to know that
You're the one I want to go through time with...

Description:
A large man, in almost every sense of the word, he stands several inches above six feet high, has broad shoulders, and plenty of well-sculpted muscles covering most of his body. Because of his height and build, it's easy to mistake this man for being much older than his twenty-four-some turns. Spiky, fiery red hair has recently been cut too short to be pulled back, though the bangs are still kept long, hanging into the dark olive-green eyes that glow warmly in the right light. Despite spending the entirety of his life in warm climates, his complexion remains fair, with the occasional light dusting of barely visible freckles. The broad face with its narrow, chiseled features is awfully good-looking... And, in the rare occurrence that this gruff man may smile, a pair of gentle dimples may show, which only manages to improve his attractiveness.
He is adorned in a tailored, long-sleeved green tunic, the shade a tad darker than the color of his eyes. A vest dyed black, and obviously made by talented weavers is buttoned atop that, hanging over the brown roughspun pants. The legs of those are tucked into well worn and un-dyed wherhide boots, apparently the only pieces of his apparel that are not new. Overall, he appears to be dressed for a somewhat formal occasion. A pale blue string twists with a dark gray one, forming one cord that twines with another black one. Between the two is entwined a pale brown ribbon. The twisted cords and ribbon form one loop, ending in a long tail. With its silver threading, the knot marks him as a Brownrider at Ierne Weyr.
Background:
Mouko was born and raised in the hot desert that is Igen Weyr, the youngest son of Mason, a healer journeyman, and Kolla, a cook. Before him came his eldest sibling, his sister Malla, and his brother one turn his senior, Kallon. Little Moe quickly grew almost frighteningly large in only a few turns, earning quite a few teasings from the other Weyrbrats... Even Malla and Kallon acted cruelly towards him. They didn't tease for long, though.. After a few brawls, word of Moe's bad temper and brute strength had traveled all through the Weyr, and now he was feared instead of teased. Growing up without friends didn't bother him too much, or so he'd like to think...Much of Mouko’s time was spent hiding out in the stables, preferring even the company of smelly runners to other people.
One day, on one of the few occasions when he was found outside the stables, one of Igen’s Wingseconds, Rianna and her Green Versath decided she liked the way he smelled and so, he was searched to stand on the Igen sands. The hatching passed by in a blur, and when it was all over he was still standing... alone. Not long after the Igen hatching had ended, Moe was offered another chance to stand, at the newly established Ierne Weyr. In Moe's mind, this candidacy passed by just as the last one had, until he stood on the sands - again, and found his first /real/ friend in the Frail Brown Eshoth.
Weyrlinghood passed without incident, and then he slowly but surely became fast friends with another Weyrling, Decata... And Eshoth’s odd infatuation with her Green Vindrith did little to hurt the riders’ relationship. And then, Decata announced that she was in love with him. And after a sevenday or so of needling and poking, Moe admitted -- he felt the same. Finally, he was /truly/ happy and in love... For a few days, anyway. And then Vindrith rose to mate, and was caught by P’len’s Blue Glaceth, which left M’ko shocked, surprised, and hurt. Being Weyrbred, he understood how flights worked, but that didn’t make him any happier about the current situation. With his infamous temper at work, Moe confronted the pair.
Angry and unreasonable, Moe left the new couple alone and spent the next few days hiding out on Ierne’s beaches... And it was there he met the newly posted Journeyman Healer, Rulita. She was kind to him, and helped the Brownrider out of his depression. So, despite his trying hard /not/ to, Moe found himself falling in love again... And, fortunately for him, she reciprocated those feelings. Things were not all well, though, because one evening in the Living Cavern, it was announced that Decata and P’len had been Weyrmated. Needless to say, Moe was not a happy Brownrider, at that. He spent much of his time in hiding with Eshoth, and rarely left the solitude of his weyr, even after he heard the news that Rulita had been transferred back to the Unified Crafthall and promoted to Acting Craftmaster.
After a turn or so, Moe ran into Rulita again on Ierne’s beaches, and admitted he still had feelings for her, and she admitted to feeling the same way... And so M’ko and Rulita were happy for a sevenday or so, at least, visiting each other often. And then, when the crafthall had a gather, the MasterHealer broke the news that despite her age and rank, her father was still forcing her to be handfasted. Moe finally realized that he /couldn’t/ be with the Masterhealer, and after a rather painful separation, managed to be alone for a time... Until he met Green Fahjeth’s rider, Talya. Past experiences had caused Moe to...change. And for the first time in his life, the Brownrider found himself being open, and friendly, even. Then, after chasing Fahjeth in flight twice, Eshoth caught the second time, finally setting M’ko and Talya together. After a few sevendays, Moe even asked to Weyrmate, and Talya accepted. Soon after, Moe ran into Craftmaster Rulita, again, giving her the news of the Weyrmating, and assuring her that he still had feelings for her. So now the poor, unfortunate Brownrider finds himself in love with one, Weyrmated to another, but somehow reasonably happy, besides.
Eshoth
Description
Small and frail, Eshoth's hide is a pale brown hue, reminiscent of the shade that grasps the last dried-up chestnut leaf, clinging to its branch desperately while jostled about in the wind. There seems to be a certain fragility about him, emphasized by size and coloration. The brittleness is enhanced as he extends wings and reveals papery translucence similar to which a leaf acquires once autumn has gone and winter set in. Pallid mahogany washes over his muzzle and across his cheek bones, spilling downward across his throat and onto his belly in streaks, like that of the veins of an expiring leaf. They stretch and wind up across his ridges as well, and slowly caress in spiraled delicately around the two powdery-soft cinnamon headknobs. Although the slope of his withers and the smooth muscling of his shoulders give no illusion of strength, the high-held set of his angular head reveals some hints of inner, vibrant emotion and tensile resilience. He is 4 Turns, 7 months, and 26 days old, and is nearly thirty feet long.
Egg
Faded Periwinkle Egg
An average-sized egg in a faded periwinkle; mostly gray with the slightest tinge of blue and purple, leeched of most of its color. A spidderwebbed pattern of darker periwinkle gives the egg a cracked appearance.
Hatchling
Windblown Leaf Brown Dragonet
Were the grounds dark and the hatchling but a silhouette, people would almost certainly think him a blue, albeit a large one. The glowlight, however, definitely shows the small form to be a pale brown, the same shade as the last windblown brown leaf which clings to its tree after all the others have fallen. There seems to be a certain fragility about him, emphasized by size and coloration, and enhanced as he extends wings the papery translucence which a leaf acquires once autumn has gone and winter set in.
Impress Message:
The terror fades and is replaced with an adoration which is as intense as the fear was -- no longer is the brown worried he won't reach his person, because his wonderful and kind person has come to him! Eshoth's mind-voice strengthens as he continues to probe your mind, M'ko's strength buoying the fragile dragon and giving him the strength to fuse to your mind. In fact, all that is left of that first deperate mind-touch is the pain, which is no longer that of barking a chin on the sands, but the rather more distressing pain of being *hungry*.
Temper
Eshoth is most definitely the smallest brown in this clutch, and therefore at least until the next hatching will be the smallest at Ierne, though after subsequent hatchings you may need to duke it out with other impressees. He will begin gaining strength after his traumatic hatching and impression; in fact he has the strength of a leaf which manages to cling to the tree despite autumn's gales, though he will always look frail. He is a very gentle and soft-spoken dragon, and will hopefully bring out the caring and concern which Moe forced himself to repress for so long; first directed toward Eshoth and later hopefully toward fellow human beings. With Eshoth's soft-spoken but strong support and love, Moe will hopefully no longer feel the need to fight to survive, and within a few weeks of hatching, the little brown will no longer need to struggle to survive either.

OOC Info:
Moe's personality as well as his physical appearance were inspired from his name. Mouko is the Japanese word for 'Fierce Tiger.' M'ko is big and scary looking, is often irritable, sarcastic, and has a nasty temper... But deep down, he's really a pussycat (pun intended).
