How my role relates with my Team and Department?

As mentioned before, it is often the case, where we are asked to develop complex applications.  Hence, the work is sub-divided between the members (taking into consideration expirience).  Usually after programming a componenet, my supervisor finalises and merges them with his packages. This tends to be more productive, as much of the tedious parts of the coding, (simple yet time consuming), are programmed by me, leaving my supervisor to deal with the more complexial issues. 

How my role relates with others in the organisation?

The IT departement of Deutsche Bank is huge - consisting of sub departments who deal with issues from networks, logins, security etc. We are just one of the teams - known as the front end programmers.  Our existence is independant from other teams within the department, but dependant on the fund managers who use our applications daily. 

Sometimes, the GDH department may have queries regarding the online database (GDH portal), and may need assistance - whereby we become the point of contact.
