Who is The OverSeer???

The OverSeer is an imaginary character created for the pure fun of it. I always enjoyed looking at fantasy art graphics on the internet and I wanted to learn how to alter or create these images for myself. Being an insomniac by nature I often found myself setting up late hours watching news on the television all night. Tiring of this over the years I finally decided to create a web page and teach myself how to make the graphics as I went along.

From these circumstances arose the Kingdom of The OverSeer. I still sleep very little at night and I still detest watching the same hour of news on the television replayed over and over. Hence the Kingdom continues to grow as inspiration strikes me.

I Have chosen to remain anonymous simply because in my opinion it adds to the fun of the Kingdom. There is no room here for reality. There was never intended to be any tie with reality in any way shape or form. This web site is here for the enjoyment of my daughter and myself and if any visitors gain any enjoyment from my work, then so much the better.

For those who might be curious as to who I am, I will briefly tell you a little about myself. I am 40 years old. I have two children ages 6 & 3. My inspiration to create this site was due to my daughter. When she was very young she would join me thru the long hours of the sleepless nights. Often times she would set in my lap and we would play. It sometimes became necessary for me to force myself to stay awake because she would not sleep. She would play with the fantasy art trading cards I had collected over the years and would sometimes focus on particular ones in her play. These are the images I often used to create the graphics you see all around. We would set through those long hours of the night and I would scroll through the individual pages of the Kingdom and she would point to the screen and giggle when she saw her favorites on the monitor.

My daughter sleeps through the nights now. I often times watch her as she sleeps and I am happy that she is able to sleep so soundly without a care in the world. And while she sleeps peacefully through the long nights, I still work on the Kingdom from time to time.

This web site is registered in her name which may very well make her the youngest person ever to have a web site. I have chosen to call myself The OverSeer simply because I'm taking care of this fantasy kingdom until such time that she can take it over if she chooses to. If not?,,, Well then the Kingdom of The OverSeer will endure for as long as Geocities allows it to.

I would like to thank you for your interest in the Kingdom. I hope you have enjoyed your stay thus far. Unless you have been here for several hours there is still much to see. I have a guestbook referred to as The Scrolls of Rubicon. I would be honored if you would take the time to leave a message there. I will most certainly repay the visit as soon as I am able.
