The story so far: Evil scientist Mantrid planned to convert all matter in the universe into robotic drones. Lured into a trap by the LEXX crew, Mantrid was destroyed at the cost of the life of plant-creature Lyekka. To escape the destruction of the Light Universe, the LEXX entered the Dark Zone, where the ship is now stranded, floating in space with the crew unable to activate it.
