We at the Roar thought it would be interesting to find out a little more information about our own Faubion Drill Team. So we interviewed Ms. Smiley and here are her responses.

Questions:

1. Does Faubion’s Drill Team compete in competitions? If so when are they and where? Yes. We will have a competition the end of February at Mckinney HighSchool.
2. How often does the Drill Team practice? Right now the Drill Team practices two times a week and in the fall they practice three times a week.

 

3. Who are the Drill Team Captains and Lieutenants? How many members do you have participate? The captain for the Drill Team is Kate . 1^st lieutenant Maren, and 2^nd lieutenants Brooke  and Alexis  There are 18 members in all.

 

4. Is there any other information about the Drill Team that you would like to have printed? There is no tryout for being a Drill Team member. Sign up will be in April. Girls are responsible for purchasing uniforms and camp fees. Officers must try out for positions and must have been on Drill Team in 7^th grade.
