Welcome to Goldsboro Elementary where "everyday, every child is a Winner." I became a principal in July, 1993 at Red Bug Elementary School and accepted the principalship at Goldsboro Elementary School in February of 1995. What a wonderful experience my administrative career has given me through these principalships. It is an honor to bring my experience to the Goldsboro School which I attended in grades one through six and later became a teacher for fourteen years.

I attended Crooms Academy School for High School; Florida A&M University for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Instrumental Music; Indiana State University for a Masters of Science Degree in Music Theory and Composition; State University of New York at Brockport, Rollins College, and Florida State University for certification in Elementary Education; Nova University for certification in Administration and Supervision; and completed Leadership Seminole in 1995 - a course focusing on developing and establishing tomorrow’s leaders for Seminole County, Florida. In addition to my formal education, four years as a US Navy Musician has proven to be equally valuable.

My family consist of a lovely wife, Ingrid, who teaches Spanish at Lake Mary High School; Jasmin (7), second grade; Asha (10), fifth grade; Ayana (19), majoring in Engineering at the University of Florida; and Eldred (21), majoring in Business at the University of Central Florida. We all attend Sanford Tabernacle of Prayer Church where Elder Carrie Buie Bryant is the Pastor. My church roles include: Deacon, Trustee, Minister of Music, Sunday School Teacher, Dean and Teacher of the Sanford Tabernacle Bible Institute.

With my teaching career beginning at Seminole Community College as Professor of Music in 1971, the fourteen years of teaching public schools, four years as an assistant principal at Hamilton Elementary, and my past two principalship experiences, I have come to believe that every child can learn and that it is the responsibility of our educational system to find out how and develop that child to his/her fullest potential. If educators take note to what children learn from television and their local community, they will know that children can learn far more sophisticated and difficult content than is presently expected of them.
