| Davis Permanence 1999: New Zealand Vs Spain |
We finally have picts from this "fight for avoiding the descent from the World Group" that whas played in New Zealand (Mistery Creek Complex, Hamilton) from September 24 til 26 1999 grass! and that Spain solved by a nice 5-0: Joan and Julián Alonso beated them by 7-6, 7-6, 6-4.
This round was very important in Joan's career, from then until now he's always been called to play in the Davis Cup team. That's why we were willing to offer you picts from all that, we hope you like them. Whow! Its is very interesting seeing how Joan's sideburns have grown all along this time...... |  |
