21, 2005- Two nights ago, the hottest team in the league, continued
to roll as the Dragons (2-0) clinched thier first playoff birth
since 2002 when the Dragons advanced to BFL Bowl V, by crushing
the Produce (0-1) 79-45.
Rich
dominated this game from start to finish. He was able to take a
23-0 lead to start the game by forcing two defensive stops and grabbing
an interception.
Chris
of the Produce who made his big comeback after sitting out in 2005,
found some postives in this game. He put up his franchise best 45
points and the 34 point loss is his closest defeat yet.
Chris
opted to impliment the mercy rule in with 3:22 left to play in the
4th.
Notes:
-The Dragons are now 2-0 for first time in franchise history. In
addition, Rich has clinched a playoff birth for the first time since
2002 when he advanced to BFL Bowl V.
-The Produce 45 points are Chris's all time high, beating his old
record of 42.
-The Dragons had 3 throwoff returns, he now has 4 on the season
and leads the league in that category.
