Ross and Rich played in an interesting game last night. Featuring plenty of trick plays.

Falcons and Dragons Entertain; Falcons Win

May, 15- Last night, the Falcons (1-0) and Dragons (0-1) faced off for the first time. And in this game, both teams pulled out all the stops, as they went deep into there playbooks to out do oneanother.

The Dragons got the ball first and attempted to set a tone to slow the game down and drive the ball down the field. In six plays, Rich found him self winning 7-0. The Falcons would respond with a 2 play drive that featured a barnburner to tie the score up at 7-7.

But Ross would capitalize on a defensive stop to take a 14-7 lead at the end of the first.

Tied at 28, Ross added one last touchdown to take a 35-28 half time lead. This was the beginning of a 30 point unanswered tear. Ross would capitalize on a throwoff return to start the half, a "leap frog" play, and an interception that came at the hands of a botched "tumbleweed" play by the Dragons.

Leading 58-28, the Falcons did ease up on defense. The rest of the way, the Dragons tried getting back into it. Rich Z. would pick off his first Rich F. and return for a late touchdown, cutting the lead down to 14. But it was too little, to late. The Falcons, held on for an 86-65 victory.

Notes:
-Falcons are now 3-0 in there season openers.
-The Dragons are now 2-7-1 in season openers.
-The New Throwoff rule, which has receiving teams line up at the back of the endzone, worked very effectively.
-Rich F. threw two interceptions for only the second time in his qbing career.
