Craig is having a nice barbeque with his girlfriend when suddenly her braclet falls through the grate and onto the hot coals. Craig places his hand into the coals and fishes out her beloved braclet.
"Craig Stirling, one of the Champions. Craig, endowed with the senses and qualities of a super human. Endowed with Sharron Macready and Richard Barrett, his companions in a plane crash in Tibet, by a lost civilisation which saved them, now possessors of special powers and skills which include the conquest of pain. A secret known only to them, a secret that enables them to use their powers to their best advantage as Champions of law, order and justice. Operators of the international agency of Nemesis."

When some world leaders are assasinated, Tremayne suspects a fanatical group is responsible for the murders. Richard infiltrates the fanatical group posing as Richard Carson, a dangerous politically motivated prisoner, whom the group has already tried to spring from prison twice before. Not long after Richard is "freed" by the group and accepted as "Carson", the real Carson after escaping from prison arrives to inform the group of the infiltration. Apart from the problem with the real Carson, the "champions" discover that the next target for assassination is to be Tremayne and must save him from being murdered.

A solid story, but not a distinguished one. There are not many memorable moments in this episode though it certainly is entertaining, it lacks that usual feel that the other better episodes have. However, the plot is again very good, as usual, and it has it's dramatic moments. The humouress element is almost non-existent expect for the last few scenes. One good exchange between Richard and Craig happens at the end when they are comtemplating the various ways that Tremayne could be killed.
Richard: "Could be by grenade, gun, knife...."
Craig: "Bow and arrow..."
(Richard and Sharron look at Craig)
Craig: "Well it sounded like you were gonna' list everything!"
