The Mission
Written by Donald James | Directed by Robert Asher

Prologue
Sharron picks up a couple of hitchhikers; Richard jumps over a high fence, and Craig stops a runaway van.

"Sharron Macready, one of the Champions. When Sharron Macready, Craig Stirling and Richard Barrett crashed in the snows of Tibet and encountered the lost people, they couldn't have even imagined the powers they had been given. Craig, Sharron and Richard: the three Champions of law, order and justice. Able to use their gifts to their best advantage as operators of the international agency of Nemesis."

Synopsis
Craig and Sharron pose as a Mafiosa gangster and his girlfriend in an attempt to infiltrate an organisation which provides escape routes for crimals who have had their faces altered by plastic surgery. Unfortunately because of the agent's unique blood type, they are in danger of being killed if Dr. Pederson can't find a matching blood type. Richard then poses as a hobo to get into the mission where Pederson does his work, hoping that he will be used as a blood supply for Craig and Sharron. When Sharron is taken in for her surgery, Craig and Richard have little time to rescue her and collect evidence against Pederson who has his own plans to go into hiding with the help of his ex-Nazi friend.

Review
Again the former Nazis are the bad guys in this episode. Dr. Pederson is discovered to be an ex-Nazi doctor who performed "surgery" in Dachau concentration camp during World War Two. This is one of the better uses of the Nazi antagonist that have been present many times throughout the series. Not hell bent on revenge for the fatherland, instead this doctor doesn't want much to do with his former life and just wants to get out of hiding. He is still a very wanted man and it because of this that he is desperate to find a new identity. Craig and Sharron's act as the mafia couple is perhaps too much, a bit hammy. All the cliches are there which make there characters a bit too unbelieveable. Even Richard goes undercover, but his portrayal of a hobo is quite perfect. Richard, and his fellow down-and-out are the highlight of the episode. They add a touch of humour to the episode, which is a trademark of the series.

Craig is talking to Richard through the floorboards asking whether it's possible to reach him through it. With Richard is a hobo who has two large bottles of wine, and is quite drunk.

Richard: (talking to Craig) "The ceiling's plastered"
Hobo: "Plastered? Oh no, I'm not plastered!"

Another funny part is when Sharron accidently drenches Richard who is standing in the bath tub. Richard stands there with the shower pouring over him, waiting for someone to turn it off.
