My name is pronounced "meekowe"

And don't you forget it!

I have lived several years (because I am fit) and learned a thing or two about life (surviving it). So this makes me very qualified at helping others with their daily survival.

Ergo, that is why I am the "help" writer for this publication.

It takes many random typings to create something coherent, but there's always one that seems to make enough sense to publish.

This Month's Letter:

Dear Miko,

I am currently dating a girl who is an actress. My question is, how do I know when she's being truthful with me or not?

My friends all say that she's cheating on me, but she claims otherwise and is very convincing about it. I love her and need to hear some encouraging words about the whole situation.

Hopefully,
Confused

Dear Confused,

She's running around behind your back with other males - and you can take that to the bank.

It's a story as old as time itself. Your female lies to you to keep you available just in case, but she also secretly plays the field in hopes of getting better genes than she feels you are able to offer.

Her acting talent is very natural. It's a vital link in the whole evolutionary process. But it's not her fault, she's been hard-wired to do this from millions of years of evolution.

In Nature, there are many many animals who camouflage their intentions for the furtherment of themselves which also aids in the furtherment of the animal kingdom.

For example, the Angler fish has an extension from its head that wiggles at the end. Smaller fish try to eat it and the Angler fish eats them.

Some lizards change color to match their surroundings in order to be passed over by predators - or to be the attacking predators themselves.

And there are female birds who pretend to be monogamous, but mate with other males when the opportunity arises. Your girlfriend is like this.

She is simply camouflaging her inner self like other animals camouflage their outer selves. It's really a wonderful thing if you think about it.

Now that the truth has set you free, what are you to do now?

Bone up on your acting skills!

It's time for you to get into the game. You need to work on spreading your seed while simultaneously keeping your girlfriend available so that she can do stuff for you.

So start playing the field and lie about it. But don't think about lying as a moral act - think of it as just acting.

You are an actor in the play of life (and love), and your performance determines how many curtain calls you will receive in the form of passing on your DNA.

So you had better get busy before the curtain falls for the last time.

Break a leg!

Sincerely,
Miko
