Ken Basarke is from Toronto Ontario. His fiction has appeared in the magazines Pulp Eternity, Parsec and Blue Food and in the e-zines, Writer Online, Jackhammer, Electric Wine, Storisende Verlag, Planet Relish and Fantasy, Folklore & Fairytales. He has two novels being evaluated by publishers. The first is called The Ursine Fix and the second is called The K'nith. 

Ken's essay entitled What is my Writing Worth was featured in the September 2001 MiC Newsletter and in the Hugo's New Home Brew chapbookIt was reprinted in the Canadian Writers Guide, 13th Edition in Sept 2002.

Sadly, Ken lost his battle with cancer and passed away on April 1st, 2003. Some of Ken's friends in the SF community have contributed to his memorial page.
