Barry Pepper was born on April 4th 1970 in Campbell River B.C.  He stars as Jonnie Goodboy Tyler in the much anticipated film Battlefield Earth based on the book Battlefield Earth: A Saga of the year 3000 by L. Ron Hubbard. Fellow Canadians Kim Coates and Sabine Karsenti also play lead roles in the film. Barry has also starred in the feature films,  Enemy of the State and The Green Mile  which are both borderline SF. Other SF roles include guest appearances on the series'  Highlander, The Outer Limits and Sliders.
