James Beveridge was born in Windsor Ontario and now lives in Edmonton Alberta. James' artwork has been nominated for an Aurora Award in the Artistic Achievement category five years in a row. He finally won it in 2002. James worked as Creative Consultant for On Spec from 1995-1997. He has also done the cover art for On Spec for at least 5 issues. He has also done a lot of artwork inspired by Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time Series which can be found on numerous Wheel of Time sites on the web.

James is the cover artist for "Hugo's New Home Brew" which is a chapbook containing all of the 2001 MiC Newsletter Guest Editorials and an exclusive essay by John Clute. For more details and ordering info visit the Hugo's New Home Brew page.
